Comes in an easy to open sealed pack , Has taken my well water with a TDS of around 280 down to around 14-16 TDS in addition of using these with the rest of my RO filters in my Ispring Model RCC7AK-UV that these filters mount inside of. These Filters will help filter out the dirtiest water. Ive compared my TDS readings with the Reverse osmosis machine at the big box store where you bring your 1 gallon jugs and pay to fill them and Got much lower readings with my ISpring machine " Lower readings are good", Try it yourself with an TDS meter .Ive also compared the Ispring machine against some bottled spring water companies water and also got lower readings, Try it sometime you might be surprised how much solids are in that bottled water at the store . Where I live here in East Tennessee the water is full of lime and deposits. My Ro System filters it all out and provides safe healthy drinking water for me and My family. Most Peoples water will not be near as dirty as my water in my well and probably will read a 0-appx 8 tds if anything on there meter after going thru the RO system as the one I own. So be sure to keep that in mind as we are talking about how this machine can take the dirtiest water and out perform some of the best systems in the world . delivered promptly; solid cylinder filter; needed greater filtration capability to protect downstream iron and ion filter units. Works well; with our groundwater silt load, need to change every 3 months.

Rusty water in our area and these stage-one filters get replaced first and frequently. Work great and the later stage filters are generally in much better shape after the grit caught by this filter. We've had our RO unit for four years and have been extremely pleased with the water quality, cannot fathom going back to the local tap for daily drinking at this point.

These filters are great. They come in pkgs. of 3 so that helps with having to order every month or so.

Filters out the old water taste.

Within 24 hours and around 20 gallons of water sediment was already starting to show in the filter. I would definitely recommend these filters. I will see how the 90 test goes.

Good product at a reasonable price. Be careful not to overtighten the filter case.
