Excellent
It says fast charging, and it really is! A brand new battery charged to full in 20-30 mins, charged about 3 batteries in an hour. When it's charged, the charger plays a little melody though its very quiet. Overall I'm happy with the product. Btw it was brand new, not a used or returned item.

Cheap rubbish don't buy
Charges the battery about 20 times then stopped working completely change the fuse in plug no good completely rubbish don't buyJust to add this I had to order a another charger but this time I ordered an original Makita just open the box and you can tell the difference you definitely get what you pay for the cheap one is absolute total crap compared to the the genuine Makita charger definitely do not buy the cheap rubbish it will not last and you'll be paying twice like me!

Value for money even if it doesn't say makita
Much like my makita branded chargerThis is a quick charging unit and the batteries I got hold a charge even they are not the brand name ,I use these for my skill saw and are happy so far with both products .

Great Charger - Delivery LATE by HERMES AGAIN!
The charger itself seems very good and charged the three batteries I have (2 Genuine Makitas and 1 OEM) quickly, I have not had it long enough to judge it's long term abilities. My main complaint is that YET AGAIN Hermes the courier Company let the side down by NOT delivering on 11th September as promised. This has happened to me several times, I think Amazon should review / audit the performance of Hermes as a courier as it is seriously impacting on the reputation of Amazon Prime.

Failed after 11 months
Needed it for an urgent job yesterday and I discovered it has died. The old adage rings true: buy cheap, buy twice. No response yet from seller re “12 month warranty”. I’ll give them another day to respond, as Amazon suggests.Now buying a genuine Makita charger.
