Very nice, very substantial, great fit and install easily.

Super easy installation with the included (painted to match) screws that come with 3 different lengths. Looks great, way better than original even. New lever glides smoothly with my existing mortise lock. Great replacement handle because it's metal on both sides (not plastic on the outside that gets sun faded and cracked from weather).

NOTE: THIS is a good sturdy easy to grip sliding door handle BUT it can only be attached securely to the door frame from its rear side!!! It has recessed female threaded screw boss castings on the back side because it is meant to be used only with a handle on the opposite side that has screw holes going completely through that handle and then long enough to reach the predrilled female threaded holes on the rear of this new handle and spaced correctly on center(screw - to - screw) same distance apart as the holes in the other side handle whether that handle is on the inside or on the outside. (The following is only necessary to read if you are planning on installing this handle yourself If not, stop here!) When I carefully disassembled the handles on both sides I could see that with screws about an inch longer but same thread size , I could attach this new handle using the same screw holes already on the inside handle and thru the door and the additional length screws will reach the threaded female screw bosses on the back side of the new handle casting. FYI the Big Orange sign store didn't have the longer screws in the thread size needed but the local ACE Hardware did! Ah, YES, another satisfied AMAZON customer(my wife, I mean!) HER door is fixed.

Got a broken handle on my sliding door, found this on Amazon. Make sure the 2 screws on handle is 3-15/16" center to center which mine was. Easy replacement took less than 15 minutes. Comes with 3 set of screws - long, medium and short also the flip pin that insert into the latch. I ended up using my own original screws since they seem to fit better but I could have use the medium size. Looks to be well made and much less expensive than my local hardware store. Glad I found these online! Easy recommendation and will buy again if needed.

After trying some other sliding door handles from here, which were just too weak or a nightmare to install, I finally found a solid replacement for my glass-door. Not only this was quick to install, but also the handle is strong, giving me much more force when closing & opening the door. I saw the same model at Home Depot, and was about to get it, when I noticed that it was much cheaper on Amazon. So, got it on here instead right away instead.

Exterior aluminum handle breaks apart when tightening screws. Poor material quality. Punching pennies will cost a fortune

I purchased this to 1224 replace my 1204 that cracked like the pictures in its review (the screws in the wood handle also wore out). My door is 1-3/4" thick, with 3-15/16” hole spacing, no lock, so I tried this item because it looked stronger with thicker metal. This kit has no lock and no latching assembly, as stated in the description, but it does have that little black lever thing. The screw heads are painted black to match. Amazon sells other items that include the inside latching assembly. This 1224 model arrived in good condition, and with three different length screw sets. The longest screw set worked for me. The "outside" part has more tapped posts to accept screws than in one of the pictures and worked fine. It's smooth painted metal. I waxed it with Soft99 fusso coat because why not? My only complaints, I did like the style of the 1204 with the rectangle handle over this curved one, but didn't want to chance it cracking again (I think my door is too heavy for the 1204). The lever thing does seem to bind a little when I move it up and down, but once it's not so hot outside I'll take it apart again and check if I did something wrong. My old "outside" handle was more of a handle and not this flat style (I might put it back). This inside handle does seem to wiggle around more than the other one did, and it is tightened to spec. If I had been cleaning and oiling my door track so it slides better I probably wouldn't have cracked the 1204 model. We'll see how long this one lasts, but it definitely works as a handle. Also note this inside handle is the only thing keeping that little lever thing from falling out, so don't try a different style that doesn't cover it, unless it maybe has an outside part to screw into. ** Edit ** Okay I cleaned the door sliding tracks and oiled everything and it's working much better without binding.

Our 12 year old door handle broke and this was a perfect replacement. It looks different than the original version but adds a bit of a modern look. This handle is much sturdier than the original version and has a good grip and makes it easier to close or open when carrying stuff. Installation was a snap with just 2 screws that were included. If somehow this one breaks, I'd buy another of the same thing.

This is a great replacement handle! Come with all of the necessary hardware and is secure. Super easy to install and if done correctly, it's solid! I see a fee reviews indicating that the handle was wobbly after installation but I honestly think that is operator error and the handle isn't placed correctly. I've had no issues with the locking mechanism. I didn't really have high expectations but I would give this a 5/5 and would buy again (although I hope I don't have to). I had this in my shopping cart for a long time (months). I noticed the price fluctuates a lot... I ordered mine for $33CAD. I've seen as low as $27 and as high as $73!

Does work well and the build is great. However the screws provided were all too long so I still had to trim the shortest screws provided using a small angle grinder. Hence the 4 star.
