Since the reviews were mixed, I feel compelled to write one to say that this worked great for me and far exceeded my expectations . I removed most caulked on my glass shower by hand but there was stubborn residue I could not get out. I sprayed this stuff on it and waited about 1-2hrs, then scraped it with a utility knife. It got about 99% of the caulk.

I had a container of liquid ant bait spill on the floor and spraying it with this and using a plastic razor removed all the residue and left no smells behind. It was quick and very effective. The only thing I would note is that I did not get the Japanese bottle displayed, so my review is for the English version (in case there is any difference).

I recently used this contractor-grade solvent to tackle some stubborn caulking in my bathroom, and I was impressed with how well it performed. If you’ve ever tried to remove old, dried-up caulk, you know it can be a frustrating and time-consuming process. While no solvent can completely replace manual scraping, this one made a significant difference in breaking down the remaining residue and making cleanup much easier. After manually scraping off the bulk of the caulk, I applied this solvent as a final pass, and it worked wonders in dissolving the leftover adhesive and residue. The formula has a strong but not overpowering scent, and it’s much less harsh than some chemical-heavy alternatives. It didn’t damage the surrounding surfaces and left everything looking clean and refreshed. That said, this isn’t a “magic eraser” for caulk removal—you’ll still need to put in some elbow grease to get the job done. But as a finishing step, it’s an excellent product that saves both time and effort. If you’re dealing with old caulking, adhesive residues, or sticky messes, this is a great tool to have on hand. Would definitely recommend for home improvement projects where adhesive removal is a challenge

Degreaser, appears to get the job done. I purchased to remove ziebart off car parts. Did not work so well. Amazon packaging was not good. They attemped to seal the product in a bag and sealed the bag onto the product. Thank goodness sprayer did not leak. Pulling the melted plastic pieces apart was a challenge.

Super great product, it really gets anything out. My husband is a contractor and he sprays this on his clothes, BINGO!

Did nothing to remove caulk around the bathtub, I left it on for half a day. My bathroom project now will be 5 days long since I had to order another caulk remover and wait for it to arrive. I can't use the shower in this bathroom.

I just want to say WOW!!! We tried another solvent which did nothing, so we had given up. We had Velcro carpet stays on our pine floor (for large area rugs), and now we've decided we want to remove the rugs. The first solvent we tried did zero. We thought we'd have to replace several planks on our pine floor (lesson learned, btw), but we decided to try this one and WOW!!! It removed the solvent, barely ten minutes of "soak" time, and didn't harm the floor. I so wish I had taken before pics for y'all. The darn Velcro tape is GONE! And, it had been there now 8 years. What an amazing product. I don't know and I don't care how it works!

Non stinking, but didn't remove the caulk very well. I applied 3 applications and still didn't dissolve it.
