It’s a remote. It controls the TV. Yay ;)Most importantly it was a seamless setup for our TV. Ie; no setup needed. Put batteries in, pushed buttons, TV responded. Couldn’t ask for more. (Well, I could, but not reasonably.)Hopefully don’t lose another remote, but if I did I’d buy again.

Aftet placing the batteries in the correct direction, this remote worked immediately with my Sony Bravia TV. The buttons are in the same format as the original remote that came with the television. That made it very easy to use!

Works great, but no backlet

Voice won't work if the original remote is still paired with the TV.I ordered this remote to have as a second remote so both the wife and I could control the TV. Mostly that has worked out, although this replacement seems to have a mind of its own. Many times I want the TV to go to the HOME position and navigate from there, but lately, pushing the HOME button takes me to a Settings screen. That's frustrating.
