Great mid-range mini-pc for a low price - Inside the pc images included
TL;DR: Solid mini PC for casual use like web browsing, media, and light gaming — but I recommend buying a higher-end model rather than upgrading this one later. I purchased the ACEMAGICIAN Matrix M1 Mini PC with a Ryzen 7 6800H (8 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.7GHz), 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It also comes with integrated Radeon 680M graphics, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Windows 11 Pro preinstalled. Out of the box, it ran well for everyday tasks — streaming movies, browsing with multiple tabs open, and using cloud gaming services like Amazon Luna (which looked great at 720p resolution). It’s also completely silent in normal use, and doesn’t get noticeably hot. However, I decided to upgrade it. The included RAM was a single stick of generic-brand 16GB DDR5, so I replaced it with a dual-channel 2x16GB kit from TeamGroup to boost graphics performance. I also swapped the 512GB SSD with a faster 2TB TeamGroup NVMe. While the upgrades were worth it for performance, I probably spent an unnecessary extra $200 — and reassembling the unit was frustrating. The power button is not secured to the chassis and fell out when opening it, and the internal WiFi antenna is hard to position properly when closing the case. There’s no second M.2 slot for storage — the only other slot is taken by the WiFi card. I also wiped the factory Windows install (just to be safe) and installed my own clean Windows 11 Pro. Then I set it up as a dual-boot system with CachyOS (an Arch-based Linux distro), which ran great with full support for WiFi, Bluetooth, and hardware acceleration right out of the box. Overall, I’m happy with the machine for now — it’s fast, quiet, and energy efficient. But if I were buying again, I’d skip the base model and go for a Ryzen 9 version with more RAM and storage pre-installed. This one is great for office work, media playback, and cloud gaming — just don’t expect it to run AAA games well without upgrades. My advice: If you have $500 to spend up front, buy the ACEMAGICIAN S3A that already has a Ryzen 9 and 1TB SSD. Then wait a year or so before you do anymore upgrades. This Matrix M1 is close to being maxed out already. AceMagician please let me get the S3A for a discount! or let me borrow it for a review here.

One of the unit just died, but was able to get replacement.
One of the units failed after a few months and wouldn’t power on. AceMagician support was responsive and replaced the unit, and I’m back up and running.

Warranty is crap
Got the machine and it worked great. Died about 45 days in. Sent email to support and never heard back. I guess I’m out some money

Great Mini PC with excellent Tech Support
What a great little PC. I purchased the M1 mini with Ryzen7 6800H to replace an aging desktop that won't run Windows 11. I liked this model because it had several high speed USB slots including USB-C, HDMI and Displayport, WIFI 6, a 2.5 gb ethernet port and even Bluethooth. The memory is DDR5 and upgradeable as is the SSD. Installation went smoothly and this PC is surprisingly fast and quiet. I contacted tech support to get current drivers and for documentation on how to add Ram and an additional SSD since these were not available on their website. Tech support responded quickly with a link to download the drivers. They also said they were making a video on how to add memory and SSD. A day later I received another email from tech support with a YouTube link on how to do the upgrades. Summary: Nice quick inexpensive PC and great tech support. Would definately buy this again.

Amazing Budget PC. Highly Recommend
Small, but amazing piece of technology. Surprised me straight out the box. Handles light gaming and cloud gaming very well. Very fast browsing, downloading, video editing. After about 8 weeks my pc started having issues booting up, i simply contacted the acemagic support team, and they guided me through the refund process. They completely replaced my Pc for free no questions asked. 5 star support team. If youre in the market for a great Pc on a budget, i highly recommend this product.

Great little powerhouse for retro gaming and some light modern gaming.
I’ve had this for a few months now and it’s been perfect for what I wanted. Light gaming and tinkering. It’s actually just faster than I expected. It does get a little warm at times so I plan on getting a small stackable fan to help with cooling. Overall I’ve been very pleased with this.

An excellent mini-PC
An excellent mini-PC that was easy to setup and basically ran straight out of the box. It runs very well and boots speedily. I routinely use Blender 4.4, the Godot game engine, and the Steam games I typically play. I recently picked up "Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey" but I had to lower the graphical settings a bit. "Hollow Knight" can easily reach 60 fps. I would definitely purchase from AceMagician again. It will get warm and needs space to breath, but this is an excellent machine. A+++

Bluetooth issues
I really love this small form factor and the PC is super easy to set up and use, but I had to give up because it couldn't handle more than one bluetooth connection at a time. If I connected more than one bluetooth (keyboard + mouse), then after a while the bluetooth connection would fail entirely. I got a replacement device, but that ended up blue screening every couple days so I ended up returning. Connectivity: Bluetooth connection issues Ease of setup: Super easy Noise level: Very quiet Ease of use: Very easy to use
