I ordered Solara one touch pro rice cooker after reading good reviews but I was quite taken a back after seeing the plastic body in person. And the lid joint cracked after just one use. The buttons were very hot to touch. We have used Panasonic rice cooker for 16 years and never faced such an issue. This is complete waste of money. It does cook, it does look good but at the cost of smelling like burnt plastic and cheaper quality steaming basket which is also plastic. If you are ok with food grade plastic and the overall plastic body then you can buy. Otherwise we have multiple options in the market with metal body for the same or even lesser price range
