I love this!! My baby's bedtime book after her bath .. she loves it ! Its such a sweet little story

Stunning. Bawled my eyes out upon first reading to my little one. Great as a single mama (or papa) as there is no reference to another parent I'll be a homeschooler so i translate that page to 'when you go out with friends'... Lovely. So pleased with it.

I wanted a short story to read to my baby at nap times. I’m not particularly religious, but liked the idea that by reading this story out loud to my little girl my baby would know how loved and wanted she was. This book is a bit more religious than I had anticipated (there is a short prayer of sorts on every page) (hence 4 not 5 stars), but it’s got nice pictures, and is a perfect length for pre-nap time.

What a beautiful book! I ordered it for our granddaughter and I have just received it! Fantastic illustrations and beautifully written words! I highly recommend it!

When my husband and I found out our adoption year for our province had come up, we wanted to start building our library. Unless specifically stating adoption, it's hard to know what is actually appropriate and what isn't. This story starts out, "Before you were born, I asked God for something special. I asked Him for you. 'Dear loving Father in heaven above, send a sweet baby for Mama to love.' The first time I held you in my arms, you fell asleep all snuggly-cozy. And I prayed. 'Thank you, dear God, for this cute, cuddly bear. May my little one know Your love's always there.'" It also mentions first wobbly steps, first prayers, first time saying no, first time seeing a butterfly, the first time being hurt, first time dressing by themselves, and the first day of school. Our adoption will be for a child under two, so I don't know how appropriate it will be for every situation, but it's a sweet book, and we'll have our firsts together to celebrate, so I'm not going to overthink the book too much, especially since it mentions school, and that will be a few years off as well for us.

Absolutely beautiful

Its really cute and this book is definitely our new favorite! As a mom Im emotional reading it for the first time! My kid loves the bears inside tho!
