I recently purchased the Porch Shield Fire Pit Cover, and I’m really impressed with the quality and performance. Right out of the box, it felt durable and well-made The material is thick, water-resistant, and clearly designed to withstand outdoor elements. The stitching is strong, and the built-in air vents help prevent condensation and ballooning on windy days. It fits my fire pit perfectly and the adjustable drawstring + click-close straps keep it secure even when the wind picks up. We've had some rain and sun since I started using it, and it’s done an excellent job protecting the fire pit. It also looks sleek and neat on the patio, which is a nice bonus. Great quality, fits my Firepit perfectly! ( I dislike it when a protection cover looks like a garbage bag 😖) This one looks well made.

I used it to cover a garden fountain for the winter. I am pleased that This cover is heavy duty material that should last a long time. It fits well a looks good. I deducted one star because the vendor advertised one day delivery which appealed to me. The cover did not arrive until six days later.

UPDATE - January 24 - January 28, 2026 Texas had a bad ice and snow storm, multiple days of refreezing. Today is Feb 1st (a week later) I finally could break the ice & dump it. This cover is amazing, I’m going to put something in the middle so it can’t collect anymore. This cover is really worth it to keep your fire pit nice. Definitely water proof, this is just a puddle compared to how much water I’ve dumped out before… my fire pit is bone dry every time I dump all the water out.

OK, I looked at several waterproof fire pit covers on Amazon. I decided to pay a little bit more, this one was $30. It is definitely worth $30 and more. It is a very heavy and sturdy material. It has double stitching around the top and two vents on the side.. It fits perfectly on my square fire pit. My fire pit sits out in sunny Florida 365 days a year pretty much in the hot sun. I purchased the cream color to match my patio. Plus I think black would be way too hot. I would definitely purchase all my other coverings from porch shield. Don’t waste your money on the cheap ones. This is so worth the money. I would give it more than five stars if I could!

I reordered this firepit cover almost 3 years to the day of my first order. My firepit is 26"square and about 28" high. The cover could accommodate a larger firepit. The edges have elastic and there are clips which can be used to anchor the cover to the firepit. 3 years is about its life expectancy. It became stiff and brittle a few months ago leading it to rip easily if you are rough in handling it, which I was. However I noticed that even with a few rips it still seemed to protect the fire pit from rain. I think the cover has extended the life of my firepit. It's great for the winter. Given the smaller size of my firepit I was able to put it under the feet of the firepit, raising it off the surface of my patio. My firepit cover is pretty but white is not the color I would choose for a firepit cover. My cover is exposed to weather all of the time. So it does get dirty and fades. ( never tried washing mine) I would definitely recommend this cover.

This was a perfect fit for our fire table, the construction is sturdy, and the elastic cords do a great job of securing it in place even in gusty thunderstorms. This cover held up to 4+ years of exposure to the elements--rain, thunderstorms, hail, wind, UV, ice, and snow--without any substantial water ingress, and without any mechanical failures. Please note that UV did in fact fade the cover to a light grey, but it continued to work well as a waterproof cover. By four years, there were a few minor tears here and there. Nonetheless, if I hadn't damaged it during a botched cleaning (my fault!), I think the cover would have lasted for a few more years. I had no qualms about immediately ordering an identical replacement.
