Came beautifully wrapped, would be suitable for gift giving. I've had it for almost a week, and I love it! The leather is so smooth and touchable, I keep finding reasons just to hold it. It comes with a clip, 3 inserts - lined,Kraft, and blank, a zipper folder, stickers and a postcard. The pen was a surprise, it's really metal, heavy, but feels good in my hand, and writes really smooth. The inserts are a nice weight of paper. The brass accents look really dress it up. The leather scuffs nicely, and can be buffed out with a soft cloth, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks as it ages and is used. I'm very happy with this travelers notebook!

Ein erstklassiges Produkt in Material und Fertigung. Insbesondere das Papier ist hervorragend; im Gegensatz zu manch anderem Notizbuch ist das Papier fest; es ist undurchlässig, so dass sich die Tinte nicht einsaugt und die Schrift verwischt, und es ist überhaupt für Füllfederhalter bestens geeignet (was für mich wichtig ist !). So könnte die Freude ungetrübt sein, wenn nicht die Farbe wäre. Das Grün in meinem Falle ist, ebenso wie das Blau eines zweiten Notebooks vom gleichen Hersteller, sehr stumpf und wirkt irgendwie schmutzig, und je nach Lichteinfall wirken beide Farben nur noch grau-schwarz. Wenn die Farben kräftiger und leuchtender wären, würde ich sofort fünf Sterne geben. So aber muss ich leider einen abziehen.

I’ve had other travellers notebooks before, but this one is truly awesome. There is so much Value in what you get in the package. The leather which is Genuine is so beautiful, it is an unpolished saddle leather that will naturally show scratches but overtime will just get More and more beautiful. Scratches buff out with your finger. There is also a super awesome brass pen that writes so wonderfully. Included is a credit card and zipper pouch insert, extra elastic cord, a cute post card, and some vintage looking stamps. All wrapped in a pretty gift box. I was impressed at the weight of the paper in the 3 books that come inside. Fountain pen, water paint and water based markers do not bleed through. This is a purchase I will make again for a gift next time. I am keeping this one for myself.
