Fantastic Glass Jars – Plastic-Free & Durable!
These large half-gallon glass mason jars are exactly what I was looking for. They’re completely plastic-free, not sensitive to heat, and have a wide mouth that makes them super easy to fill. As expected- good jars
As always with Ball jars, these are good quality and should last for years.

Excellent jars for food storage
We use these jars to store dry goods that we purchase in bulk, such as beans and rice. We use a jar sealer to put a vacuum seal on the lids and the combination works really well. The food is protected from mice or insects, it stays fresh, and the clear glass allows us to see what is in each container. They also work well for storing breakfast cereal. We never have stale Raisin Bran anymore!

1 out of 6 Jars broken, took a month to get, amazon made it right after me complaining.
One of the jars was broken, it took a month to ship this time after long conversations with amazon customer service, they did give my money back and still eventually ship it out... so... mixed bag. The jars that WERE intact are the expected quality of BALL: great!!!

Use these in my pantry for cereals, nuts and other dry goods. I use vacuum jar sealer and everything stays fresh

Perfect For Preserving Food
These mason jars were perfect now that I'm preserving food. These were just the size I needed and seals just as expected. They were ready to clean, it will preserve rice forever, they were of course easy to use and nothing was broken.

You can't get better storage jars than the Ball brand, nice thick glass, sturdy and easy to clean even with my large hands, I keep these on hand for emergency storage.
