I very much appreciated the manageable quantity of pieces in each numbered bag; not so many that my worktable was overly crowded at any given time.They provided a good selection of spare pieces from which I needed only two for missing pieces.The clutch power of these pieces was excellent not requiring any pieces be superglued.Completed size is good; large enough to make viewing the interior easy but not so large as to overwhelm my display shelfORIGINAL REVIEW, 23 December 2024Disclaimer. I cannot speak to how hard/easy the build is or whether you might have problems during the build, e.g. missing pieces or how tightly the pieces fit together (clutch power).These 692 pieces are full size ‘Lego’ style meaning a two-stud brick is 16 mm wide.There are eleven numbered sealed bags of pieces.The instruction manual measures 7-1/4” X 9-3/4”, is 46 pages long, and has 69 assembly steps. A lot of military brick sets are difficult to build, but this one is made of a good plastic materials that fit together normally. The pieces are normal sized and it has a full instructions. As a kit, this is at an average price.

There are a lot of pieces for a small helicopter, which is good. It wasn't a quick throw it together and be done with it. The pieces are compatible to the name brand sets, so you can make variations or do something all together different. The little people were a bit harder to put together and we broke a piece. Fortunately, we could still make the person without it.The pieces snap together and hold well. The completed helicopter is pretty cool. The kids played with it for a while, then put it on a shelf for display. It did have a bit more detail than some of the brand name kits, in my opinion.Putting it together with the kids created some good bonding time and we were able to joke around about the process. Some of the instructions were a bit harder to read, mainly the pictures - but overall it was a fun experience.I gave it 4 stars because of the instructions and the piece that broke.

So we have a couple sluban sets here that we have put together. Most of them military related but a few that aren't. This brand is definitely my favorite of the flegos. Originally, we started using sluban since they make military themed sets, but I wouldn't hesitate to get any of theirs. While the pieces take maybe just a hair more effort to snap together, that also means they take more effort to break apart and this has been extremely helpful since these sets are also being played with by a six year old. This particular set was really fun to put together but has also been the most fragile of the sets. Mainly because my son tries to really fly this one. Even with him playing with it for over a week now and actually stepping on it once, it hasn't been hard to piece back together, but this one would definitely make a better display piece than a toy. That won't stop us from using it as a toy though. Most of the time, once he starts playing with a set, you can expect it to be destroyed within a few days but this doesn't really happen with these. All the pieces come separated and labeled. The instructions are very easy to follow and tell you specifically which bag you need to pull pieces from. The stickers are larger and cover the whole block so they are fairly easy to line up. Also, every set we have gotten from them includes a brick separator. Honestly, I just really like this brand and will continue to collect builds from them!

It's been years since I created anything with building blocks, and when I saw this I knew I had to give it a go. This one is proving to be a little challenging as pretty much all the pieces are Black. However the instructions are really clear and I'm sure I will get there in the end. It is very reminiscent of another famous brand of building block, and I'd say the quality is on par with it.I loved how all the bags are labeled and how the images in the directions are also of a good size. It makes reading them without readers a lot easier.I'm very impressed with this kit and can't wait to devote some serious time to completing it. I will post photos once the build is complete. So far I haven't come across any missing parts.At 37.99 which is the price at time of my review, I have to say this offers really good value for money, this is a fraction of the cost of similar brands, and would make a great birthday gift or holiday gift. It will give many hours of enjoyment.
