Even Distribution!
Fun tool to get the perfect brew. Helps to finish your pour overs and end with a flat bed. Even distribution tool works great!

Almost exactly thr same as melodrip. And cheaper than the one I got from Orea (though that one had a base that fit my V4). Keeps your pour from disturbing the grinds bed and results in a cleaner cup.

changes taste profiles of coffees brewed.
this device is well worth the price of 12 dollars. it improves the pour over brew IF you like a coffee which brings out more body, and deeper flavors, and mutes the bright notes. it fits the v60 for 1 or 2 cup size. the perforations in the device force an even dispersion of the water over the bed of coffee grinds. no need for a goose neck kettle if you don't have one.

Great “shower screen” for pourover
Works great. It also has a hole where you can stick a chopstick or skewer to hold just the screen. Softens the flow to keep the bed less disturbed while pouring.

Makes a difference if you don't have a gooseneck..
Improved my pour over results I just didn't want to invest in a whole kettle with a gooseneck, I tried the Hario water dispersal tool first and got very bitter results, like maybe I got a bad one I don't know. So I returned it got this one much better. Would like it if the outer ring was larger so it would sit up a little higher in my V60 away from the grinds...

I used it with Kalita, not a V60 and it still worked great for me. Coffee grains remain still and water gets distributed evenly from top to bottom.
