Hamilton Beach 31700 Pizza Maker, 12 Inch Pizza Cooker, Red

I really like the way the pizza maker cooks pizza. The turn table helps brown and cook evenly. The timer is always accurate. The levels of temperature are easy to use. I follow along with manual booklet it tells me what number to cook fresh dough or frozen. I can make other items in this pizza maker like cookies biscuits, hot dogs I will follow the manual instructions. Easy clean up I cleaned turntable pan with soap and water. I thought the price was a little expensive but I had to have this pizza maker. I have owned one like this years ago and love it enough to buy another one. I like that it is lightweight it's easy to carry and the window on the cover is great to see how items are cooking.

This appliance is wonderful. We use it 3-5 days a week. My son cooks his pizza to perfection, my daughter uses it to make nachos, and hubby has used it to make nachos, grilled cheese sandwiches (and other grilled sandwiches), reheat take out, and whatever else he can think of. I bought mainly for the kids to be able to heat frozen pizzas in the summer for lunch, but my family uses it more for making other things besides pizza. It only takes minutes and we don't have to wait for the oven to heat up. If you are buying it exclusively for pizza then have no fear. We have made frozen pizza, take and bake pizza, and home made pizza all with great results. I also like that when the timer goes off so does the heat, so if you are out of the room or otherwise distracted your food will not burn. The heat plate is easy to clean, however when we make anything besides pizza or sandwiches we do line it with foil. I have owned it for 5 1/2 months with out any problems. To tell the truth if it went belly up tomorrow I would pay the money to get a new one. My kids are teenagers, however I think a child as young as 7 or 8 could use with little training. My daughter had a group of friends over last week and she made a bunch of pizza rolls, it took half the time of cooking in the oven and were more crispy on the outside than if heated in the microwave. I really like the red color and the machine heats food from the top and bottom, but the top plate does not actually touch the food. I paid around $50.00, well worth the price.

I researched many of these devices before deciding on the Hamilton Beach. It costs a little more but I love it. It has a window and a timer. If you use self rising thick, frozen pizzas, set it to 19 or 20 minutes here in Wyoming, if it is a thin pizza, set it to 13 minutes or so. It can do lots of other tricks too, as it rotates and cooks on the top and bottom. The timer is great, as you set it and it shuts off when done, and you can wait a minute or two and then take it out and cut it up. I actually like the self rising pizzas better than a lot of order in pizzas. I put extra cheese on the thin pizzas, and other toppings too, to make them even better, but have to extend the cooking time by a couple minutes. If this broke tomorrow, I would have another one in two days. I love it.

I began using this machine in June 2018, and it died today. It was a wonderful machine to use daily for all sorts of baked foods, but for the cost it should have lasted much, much longer than 4 months. It has a warranty but the consumer is responsible for shipping costs both ways! I had planned to give both of my adult children this for Christmas, but in good conscience I could not recommend this product because it was not reliable. I believe a company should offer financial compensation on shipping if a product they guarantee fails the consumer.

Got one for my RV, use it nonstop for just about anything small that you might put in an oven for pizzas, to biscuits, to pastries to lemon-pepper salmon with veggies on the side. Got my 10 year old son one so that he can be big man in the kitchen and he loves it, very easy to use, safe to use and early nothing to clean up, best of all, it turns its self off. You will need to play with the suggestion cooking time a little but thats it. We use it here at the house several times a week for hot snacks during movie night or when we have a house full of kids. Get one, you'll love it and use it more than you think.

Nice way to cook the pizza. I got tired of waiting for the oven and the struggle of cooking 2 pizzas at once. My only complaints are the tray could fit in there a little better, it is a tad awkward until you get used to it; and the pizza might take a little longer than in the oven, but the trade off is no preheating time and no chance of burning. I went and ordered a 2nd one. I also use it to cook chicken patties. Update: Both pizza makers have quit after a year and will not rotate or heat up. Good pizza maker, but not sure if I will get a new one. I did try to buy another one from Amazon, but when I plugged it in smoke came out of it and produced a foul smell, so it went back to Amazon. I contacted Hamilton Beach and they honored the limited warranty on the one that was still under warranty and offered a discount on the other one, so I was able to get both replaced, but one had a funny smell when I pulled it out of the box and smoke came out of it when I plugged it in. Fortunately Hamilton Beach offered to replace that one at no cost to me. Update 2: Beware smoking appliance! Each replacement Hamilton Beach has sent me produces smoke when plugged in and heated up. They asked to send it back for a quality evaluation which they never gave the results for until I asked and then said that the appliance worked as designed. It's designed to produce smoke? But they were happy to replace the appliance again after I cover the shipping charge.

I spent a lot of time looking at the pizza ovens on Amazon to assess their features and operation. Am I ever glad that I chose this one. It is even better than what I was expecting. It has gotten to the point where ordering a small pizza with a few ingredients on itfor delivery costs about $30. I just think that's too much money. This pizza oven is so easy to use that a child could operate it. Indeed, because the temperature gage and timer dials both have raised dots on them a blind person can operate it with ease. I am not a fan of frozen pizza, despite the enthusiastic claims by the manufacturers that they are as good as delivered pizza. Many supermarkets now make fresh pizza with choices of ingredients that they keep refrigerated. These latter really are as good as delivery, but cost only a third as much. I can only suggest one possible improvement to Hamilton Beach. They should include a latch on the front of the pizza maker to prevent it from opening if it happens to fall off the kitchen counter while operating. This would make it much safer to use and I am surprised that they didn't think of it. Despite this however, I am really pleased with it and will be using it at least once a week.

Acheter dans la catégorie économie/ rabais/ retourné La boîte était un peu amochée mais le four intact. Qualité/prix excellent. Surtout le rabais ;) Sécuritaire et facile d 'utilisation. L'appareil, à la fin de la minuterie, cesse la cuisson. On a cuit : pizza surgelé et maison ; croquette de poulet; egg Rolling ; etc. Le livret qui vient avec le four indique vraiment tout ce que l'on peut faire avec. Génial !! Mise à part le fait qu'il serait intéressant d'avoir une poignée amovible pour retirer la plaque après cuisson ( vraiment un détail). Nous recommandons vivement!

funciona mucho mejor un hornito electrico, ya que puedes controlar completamente la barra de hierro al rojo vivo superior para dar un terminado mucho mas tostado si se desea. la maquina solo calienta a cierta temperatura y derrite la pizza, pero si buscas un acabado tostadito en la parte inferior o superior de la pizza, no será posible, solo dejara pizza suave, o aguada(no que sea malo) pero a los que les gusta un poco de crunch los desilusionara
