I give this wallet 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is. It is a slim wallet, good quality. I like the half pocket for US bills and the larger pocket for whatever else. I've been looking for a wallet that did not stagger-stack my credit cards. This makes a big hump in the middle of the stack and causes the tops of the cards to crack. This wallet is designed for you stack your cards on top of one another. There is not thicker section because there is no overlap. The cards don't crack because they are all stacked together. I also really like the material. It doesn't feel like it would last a lifetime like a leather wallet might, but it's quality and should last a while. The only thing missing is a window for ID. I personally like that, but not sure why. Every time someone wants to see it I still have to take it out. So it's not that big of a deal.

I've just ordered my third one of these. The first one lasted five years; my current wallet is four years old and counting. I don't really need a new one yet. But the current price is $5 less than I paid four years ago, and I will eventually need it. Here are responses to a couple of complaints: 1) No place to carry change. Who carries change in a men's wallet? The big advantage of this wallet is its thinness. I carry it in a front pocket with no bulge. Put change in a wallet and the coins will make it bulge. 2) Credit cards slide out. This is a problem if you put fewer than three or four cards in a pocket. But what with medical insurance cards, AAA cards, etc., I've found that I can carry all my cards in the wallet without any sliding out and without stressing the stitching of the pockets. Standard credit-card-sized cards fit just fine. And I can also carry the little key-chain cards if I squeeze them on top of a stack of three or four credit cards. If you don't have that many cards to carry around you can a) use fewer of the card pockets or b) cut a few credit-card-sized pieces of cardboard and slide them in to provide the friction need to keep your credit cards in place. Carrying a bulky wallet in a back pocket is bad for your spine. It also simplifies the job of pickpockets. I have been very happy to have a nice thin (and light) wallet that fits easily in my left front pocket. It's not fancy, but mine have been quite durable and they get the job done.

I have used the same wallet for over ten years. A bit of wear, but still very usable. Thus wallet is NOT stylish. It will not impress "the babes" no matter how much money you have inside. When you get it, it will not be impressive looking. It will look like 2 cents worth of nylon. It isn't even cool in that ironic or geeky way. If you have this wallet, even Bill Gates will try to pants you. Now, that we have that out of the way, let me tell you this is my favorite wallet. It holds a lot and it doesn't get in the way. It is very sturdy despite it's appearance. It is made out of the same material that they make parachutes. You put his wallet in your pocket, and it will disappear without a trace, only to reappear once you take it back out, If I had any acting ability, I would make it the main part of my magic act. The wallet will hold about 16 different cards. There are four card pockets, so you can organize your cards in various groups. There are two money pockets. There's a deep pocket and a shallow pocket. I put $20s in the deep pocket, and put smaller bills in the shallow pocket for easy access. Older models had some problems with cards falling out, but the newer models have a piece of velcro that helps hold the cards in. I use to put a thin piece of shirt cardboard if I didn't have 3 or 4 cards in one pocket, but the Velcro strip does the job. If you want to be stylish, get a standard wallet or use a money clip. If you need a wallet that is comfortable to use, get this. There's a leather model that's a bit more stylish, but I prefer the original.

Finally, after all these years, I think I found the perfect wallet, thin, compact, room for cards, cash (bills & coins)!

My husband had this same wallet for several years and finally needed a new one. We were happy to see that it is available on Amazon at basically the same price, so we ordered one in hopes to have it within the scheduled delivery time. Alas, the package arrived unsealed without the wallet!! We're guessing it fell out since the package was not at all sealed. Fortunately, Amazon made it right and sent another one. It's an unbelievably slim and durable wallet, fits all my husband's cards, etc. without the bulk. Aside from the delivery glitch, it's a great wallet for the price.

Bought it and use it for long time. Likes the quality and durability, I put 3 credit cards, ID, insurance card, few dollar bills, and an air tag, it still folds really good and looks slim.

I have been a fan of these wallets for years. Just purchased a new one as my old one was starting to look a little rough. I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality of the new wallet. The materiel is much thinner and the stitching is not nearly as robust. Frustrating as this was a good product at one time. I'm done with Allett products.

Pros: It sure is thin. It still has a cash pocket. Space for many cards. Cons: Cards fall out if you don't stack 2 or more in each slot. Thin material naturally means it's flimsy and floppy - like a handkerchief. Nylon can get stained. No zip/velcro on the cash pocket - but it is deep enough that notes don't really fall out. I really like the design, but next time I'll sacrifice a bit of the thinness and get the one with the leather backing to give it a bit more structure.

Suits my needs. I wish it had a magnetic backing so I could attach it to my phone.

Oops, I reviewed the leather one by accident. I had ordered it in error, and really wanted this one. It’s super slim and light, and seems sturdy and well-made.

It is really thin! I like it.Only one issue that I found so far. It doesn't feel comfortable in my backpocket due to the layout of the cards. Not a problem for me since I don't carry my wallet in my backpocket. Update: A few people have commented the wallet is not really black. More of a dark grey. I still like it!
