Diamond MMA Athletic Cup Groin Protector w/Soft Rim | Shock Absorbent, No-Shift (Adult and Youth Sizes)

Tried other brands like Shock doctor which were not comfortable. Per my BJJ coach's recommendation, I ended up going with this and after rolling several weeks with the cup on, I am very satisfied with the product. You actually forget that you have the cup on after the first session or so; it is that comfortable to wear. Wearing it to every class now.

Bought the compression shorts later and the two work like a charm. Guards the package superbly!I thought the cup with some run of the mill boxer briefs would suffice but the compression shorts are a must, otherwise the cup is too heavy and doesn't stay secure. I'd recommend Diamonds ball protectors to anyone doing contact sports.

My son loves this cup! He “lost” his first cup, because he knew I’d buy him this one to replace it. Some boys on his Allstar team last season recommended this one. He has no problem wearing his cup now. He says he doesn’t even feel it - way better than last year when I couldn’t pay him to wear the old style uncomfortable cup. Which who could blame him? I hated wearing a cup when I played! He even volunteered for catcher this season! If your son likes baseball, their is no reason for him to suffer or to play unsafe any longer!

I bought it for high school wrestling as I just had surgery and cannot take any hits to the groin. I have not been able to keep it in place, and still haven’t had luck with it after taping it around my body while it is in the cup pouch. It hurts to cross your legs and it hurts if you get hit without it being in the right position. I am going to try buying a different jock strap or something to see if there’s any difference, but I just need it to be tighter overall I suppose. Bought the adult size, which is the correct size but like I said just need to keep it in place.

Updating review. Reviewed wrong product previously. This cup is outstanding... was heavier than any cup id ever used so was wondering how it would feel in action.... and well, i can barely feel that its there!! Super strong, and great under carriage protection. Would buy again for sure

The cup is as excellent as described. I've taking explosive kicks and knees to the groin during knife attack defense training and not felt anything but blunt impacts. The boys were ok and no pain. The impact appears to disperse outside the focal point.My only wish is that the cups came in multiple sizes. Mine fits but requires adjustments.

This cup and jock strap are the BEST. I train in MMA, No Gi, BJJ, muay thai, boxing, and wrestling 6 days a week, and I wear this cup EVERY DAY. It is the most comfortable cup and strap I have ever owned. My coaches all use the Diamond MMA cup and jock strap, and we all swear by it!

Great cup. My only gripe is it's still pretty hard on the edges and can be quite painful especially when doing BJJ and someone's entire body weight is mashing down on it. Sometimes I feel like I'd be better off without wearing a cup at all

J'ai acheté cette coquille plus particulièrement pour le Krav Maga, où mieux vaut sauter l'entraînement si vous avez oublié votre coquille. En combinaison avec son slip-suspensoir, elle est deux fois plus chère que la D... Sch... qui a pignon sur rue. Mais si la DS est déjà excellente et se laisse oublier, la Diamond MMA va beaucoup plus loin vers l'arrière pour encore mieux envelopper les parties génitales, et est nettement plus rigide que la DS. L'ensemble me paraît procurer une protection supérieure qui rend l'entraînement plus serein :) Elle est un peu moins souple que la DS au niveau de la zone entre l'aine et la cuisse, mais le surcroît de protection me semble compenser cela.

Acheté pour la pratique du Krav Maga, c'est de très loin le système de protection le plus onéreux, mais c'est aussi de très loin le plus efficace, quelque soit l'angle et la puissance rien ne bouge. C'est un Must Have absolue pour qui tient à ses bijoux de famille. Attention marche surement un peu moins bien sans le slip de la même marque.
