If you’re a mom you probably know the “purple monkey” song and have it ingrained in your brain. My daughter was obsessed with the play mat and I loved having this book for travel. It offered her a sense of comfort of something familiar while we were out of town. She still plays with it at home - cute book, too! The pages make different sounds and it also plays the full song.

Perfect way to keep the purple monkey in a bubblegum tree with us. I was so sad to be done with the kick and play mat because I love the purple monkey song. Small enough to fit in a diaper bag without taking up much room. I honestly just wish it played more of the song.

Who doesn’t love the purple monkey song?? My baby is obsessed—flipping pages like a tiny DJ, totally vibing to the tunes. But here’s the catch: every time you turn a page, the song abruptly changes. It’s like mid-chorus, mid-groove—bam, next track. Imagine getting cut off right before the drop. Brutal.Also, the stickers? Let’s just say they arrived with more wrinkles than a laundry pile forgotten in the dryer. It’s like the toy tried to be cute but gave up halfway through.And of course, it’s that song—the same one from the baby play mat. You know the one. It’s been playing on loop in our home so long, we’re considering giving it a Spotify Wrapped feature. It’s in my head when I wake up, when I sleep, probably in my will at this point.Still, my baby can’t get enough, so I guess we’re all just along for the ride with our purple monkey overlord.

We had the kick mat when my daughter was teeny. I saw they made this and now at 2, she’s loving her little monkey book. It brings me fond and bittersweet memories hearing this song! I wish i could just hold her all tiny one more time 🥹 I will say it would have been extra awesome getting the full song❤️ All in all super cute toy great quality. Nothing less expected from FP🥰
