“HANDS DOWN” The best “HOW TO” draw tattoo flash books on the universe..!!!
I’ve been a professional traveling tattoo artist for 22+ years, and my 13 year old daughter and 14 year old son just started the tattoo APPRENTICESHIPS this last summer.. I started back in 2004 when it was still OLD SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIPS and that’s exactly what I’m doing for my kids..!!! And to be a OLD SCHOOL TATTOOER, let alone a GOOD TATTOOER at all, you gotta know how to draw tattoo flash… WELL these “HOW TO” book are “HANDS DOWN” the best Tattoo flash drawing books not only in on the market today, but the best books for tattooing in the UNIVERSE…!!! My kids and I, including the tattoo industry are truly blessed and thankful to have these books at our disposal… I seriously couldn’t thank the author, artist and publisher enough and would live to meet them..!!! Fun little reference book perfect for beginners. Remember that this is for drawing and doesn't teach you anything about tattooing.

Hands Down the best traditional tattoo books out there!
I am trying to learn traditional tattoo illustration to guide my tattoo learning journey. I have spent extensive time scouring the internet for resource material, and have wasted a lot of money on books with weird pictures and without the helpful step by step process these books offer. There are TONS of designs, and for me who knows very little about rendering this style, is exceptionally helpful! I also am impressed that the book comes with procreate brushes to help you achieve the spit shade look digitally, which most tattoo artists do now (I am determined to learn old school and digital). The piece attached to this review is my third attempt, done on Arches watercolor paper with black India ink. If you’re looking to learn this style, do yourself a favor and grab both volumes! 😍

Must have in your library
This is a really good book. All the illustrations are clear and concise. The thing that surprised me the most was the paper it was printed on. It’s a nice heavyweight that you could actually draw on. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to up their drawing game
