Review: I installed these and am blown away by the difference they make. If you need serious illumination, these are the way to go. Here is how they stack up: Brightness & Functionality: These are basically streetlights. At 150W (1500W equivalent), they light up the entire area instantly. The 360-degree beam angle ensures there are no dark corners left. Color & Look: The 5000K Daylight color is a crisp, clean white. It isn't harsh on the eyes, but it provides excellent visibility compared to older yellow bulbs. Quality & Durability: They feel heavy-duty and well-built. I really appreciate the fanless design; the aluminum heat sink manages the temperature well without the noise or failure risk of a mechanical fan. Value: Getting this level of industrial lighting in a 2-pack is fantastic value. Highly recommended if you have a large space like a barn, warehouse, or large garage that needs to be fully lit!

I am giving this product 3 stars for 2 reasons. 5k light is very yellow and not "Daylight" in light bulb lingo. There are 2 exposed wires on the bottom. A white wire and a black wire. No, for the positive aspects. The bulbs fit standard outlets correctly and they do come with a large adapter for hi-bay outlets so that will be nice for shops. The size of the bulb and the number of LED make casting light in every direction easy with this light. The life expectancy and power savings on the bulb will pay for itself in no time flat. Each bulb weighs just over 1 lbs and the bulb part is 9" x 3.5" Marginal build quality, the body and LED are great but exposed live wires leave something to be desired. They are not making any noises i can hear and I normally pick up on the very upper levels of buzzing sounds.

Okay so my ding-dong self misread this title big time. I quickly perused the graphics that were uploaded to flip through and was thrown off by the porch light comparison of "their" corncob light to the "other" incandescent or LED bulb. There is NO WAY these corncobs would fit in the biggest porch light fixture. They are the size of two Foster's oil cans stacked, give or take. I was confused by the size and weight of the box and started laughing when I figured out what was going on. So a couple things, these are "only" 150 watts, however, in LED that translates to 23,000 lumens. For context, a 180 watt low pressure sodium vapor lamp (the yellowish tinted lights that are used in street light poles. The blueish white ones are metal Halide), as are used in many industrial instances, is 18,000 lumens. High pressure sodium, 250watts are about 26,000 lumens. These are 23,000 (+/-), so their use cases are for, like, parking lot lighting, warehouse lighting, commercial property or warehouse height ceiling commercial buildings, like say, walmart or costco, that's what these are for. Had I done my due diligence and read the page instead of fighting the good fight without my glasses, scanning titles and missing the extra zero in 1500 watts, not even seeing the lumen count, and browsing through the uploaded images quickly, seeing the bulb inside a porch light fixture and figuring that was what I'd get, I wouldn't have been shocked by the actual product. That being said, since I don't need the daytime sun shining in my retinas from a table lamp, which I highly value, I have a neighbor who just completed construction on an outbuilding with just those type of ceilings who might appreciate these, so I'm gonna build him a couple fixtures and see if he wants them, because I don't think the neighbor across the street would appreciate me making this my driveway security light. LOL This thing is BRIGHT. I do, however, appreciate the opportunity for a new project (while my husband groans at the mere mention of it. LMAO) So, now that we all know what these lights ACTUALLY ARE, $40 is about right for their pricepoint.

These bulbs are amazing. I got these for a couple of ceiling mounted lights in our garage and they are powerhouses. Dark, dankly lit garages are horrible places to spend any time and are potentially dangerous if you can't easily see. We decided to upgrade the lighting with these bulbs and they make a huge difference over the typical flood lights we use to have. The sheer brightness level they put out will make you gasp, and unlike directional lights these are omnidirectional so really shoot light everywhere in the room. In case anyone doesn't know, these are not bulbs you'd want to use indoors unless you want to blow the room out. They are not cheap but I assume being LED they will last a long time. I am a total convert and will always use these in the garage.

I screwed one of these into the single socket in my garage and I think I saw the surface of the sun. These things are violently bright. If you have a dark workshop or a barn, this is the solution. The "corn" design disperses heat well, but do not touch it after it has been on for five minutes unless you want to lose your fingerprints. Make sure you measure your fixture first. These bulbs are massive. They are fat and long, so they will not fit in a standard enclosed globe. They need air to breathe anyway, so keep them open. Pros: Incredible light output Fits standard sockets (with adapter included usually) Instant on with no flickering Cons: Physically huge Gets very hot Will blind you if you look directly at it

We love bright, white lighting in our home, but our apartment is usually very dark no matter what bulbs we try. After installing this 150W LED corn light, the difference was magical! The daylight 5000K brightness fills the whole area instantly, and the space looks bigger, clearer, and way more inviting. Functionality-wise, these bulbs spread light in every direction, so the whole room gets even coverage with no dark corners. The light output is amazing—super bright without feeling harsh—and installation was straightforward with the E26/E39 base options. If you want strong, clean, daylight-style lighting for large or dark spaces, this 2-pack is definitely worth it.

The adapter for a larger socket is extremely cheap and poorly made.
