What age is this good for?

As soon as they can sit up. We put a cut " pool noodle" on top of the tray attached by a bungee cord to prevent his face from hitting the tray. Kept it there for about a month. When he no longer needed it we just took it off. He is almost a year old now, and loves it. He is just about ready to walk. The handle is fabulous, his sister pushes him all over the house.

Before I send this back has anyone else not been able to lock the hieght adjustment into a lower position?

THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOWER MY WALKER EITHER. I HAVE TO PUSH MY SON AROUND UNTIL HIS LEGS GET STRONG ENOUGH TO PUSH HIMSELF. I PLAN TO TINKER WITH IT IN ORDER TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. I BELIEVE THERE IS A TWIST LOCK UNDERNEATH THE PLAY ZONE NEAR THE CROTCH OF THE SEAT.

Is thos item bulky? My hallway is narrow so i need something that wont be too wide.

No not at all, I had ordered a safety first walker and it was quite bulky but this one is perfect for my small house.
