ELAC Debut 2.0 S10.2 10” Powered Subwoofer, Black - Custom Driver & 200-Watt Peak BASH Amplifier - Braced MDF Cabinets

After purchasing ELAC bookshelf speakers, I decided to add a sub. I was really impressed with the speakers and I’ve been equally impressed with the sub. My overall sound is so much better now with the fullness this brings to the others. Very happy with the ELAC setup and I can’t see anything better for the price.

This is a great addition to my setup, honestly gives the depth of base it needed that my speakers couldn't handle on their own.

Great sub. I have the matching 6.2 bookshelf speakers. I assumed this was a down firing subwoofer, which is a main reason I bought it. What is odd is that it feels like any description on any website that sells it goes out of their way to not state where the driver actually is on the sub. Driver location is not in the specs, photos, or general description. It’s bizarre.

This does exactly what it should do. I have a very old Technics receiver that just recently was reclaimed from the basement closet. I added a couple ELAC bookshelf speakers and they needed this things "PUNCH". I'm very happy with everything about this. I can adjust how much power and it makes a huge difference. TV and my old CD's sound awesome. Records are about to be reclaimed next.

Love this thing. Brought my system to life. Sitting in a basement room it will ROCK the whole house. Adjustable volume is fantastic, crank it up when you wanna ROCK, turn it down when you don't wanna disturb anyone. My brother said, I don't get the whole sub woofer thing, so I turned the volume up and down, he said I don't hear it, and I said its not about hearin' it its about FEELIN" it Man. If you have a receiver that needs a sub woofer this is the one u want.

This is December of 2023, so I've had this sub paired up with my pair of D2.0 B6.2 for a year and a half. No complaints. I'm not a bass head, so I didn't want a sub that screamed, "Hey everybody, look at this sub!" I just wanted a little more low end depth for recordings that use it. I have it dialed in so that when it's on, you can't tell it's there, but when you turn it off, you realize it's missing. (if that makes any sense).

Perfect complement to my Debut 2.0 5.2 bookshelf speakers. No complaints.

Really like the unit. I'm in a single-family house, and this thing can shake the flooring of the 2nd floor while installed in the basement. So I certainly wouldn't recommend this for a condo/apartment. Rendition is great and it really gives another dimension to a basic 5.0.
