Good price, great product!
Just installed this unit today (along with new speakers) and so far It's my new favorite stereo. If something pops up later on I'll update but as far as I can tell you can't beat this price for the quality of stereo you get here. First off, setup was a breeze. The menu is intuitive and on initial start up I was able to navigate easily without getting lost. The sound may depend on your speakers but with the cheap $30 set of four speakers I replaced my cars blown factory ones with I've got to say I am very happy with what this unit can do. The main attraction of this unit (Bluetooth) is light years ahead of my old stereo's Bluetooth feature. Gone are the days of waiting for phone and stereo to pair up, this unit pairs up FAST. Also, my old unit always reverted back to the radio when it first turned on, even though it was in Bluetooth mode when I turned it off. This stereo stays on whatever mode you left it in. In short, CDs are a dead technology and if you're on a budget but need a new car stereo this one is perfect. Besides, why pay extra for a useless cd player? I haven't used a cd in a vehicle in years and I definitely don't regret not having a stereo that plays them.

Great Receiver
I bought this for two reasons: I don't use CDs and I needed bluetooth.I usually listen to podcasts and my music is on my phone so I have zero need for a CD player. I didn't even realize they made receivers without CD players but I came across this and thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Okay, maybe only the greatest thing since torrents. Not having a CD player makes this thing almost comically small. Reduces it by about 1/2 in length compared to a CD reciever. The bluetooth works great. Autosyncs to my phone in less than 5 seconds when I turn the car on. It does autoplay what was playing when I turned off the car which is great for me (the podcast thing and all) but if you're a middle aged dude blasting One Direction, this could possible lead to embarrassment...just so you know. The display like everyone says, is very low in daylight conditions and very bright at night. I don't think I've read a review on any receiver that this wasn't the first complaint. There's a clock-synced display setting that I guess adjusts the brightness by time of day but I can't figure out how it works. The manual doesn't say anything about it. You set the times that you want the sync to happen but when I set it for 6pm-6am it doesn't seem to change the brightness at all. For now, I'm just doing it manually if I'm annoyed by the brightness at night. Those little controls above the radio station presets are painted on and do not light up so you're on your own if you use those at night. I just memorized that preset #4 controls the play/pause for bluetooth/usb music so that's not a big deal. I don't use the other painted on functions like "random" and "repeat" so I don't care much about those.I don't talk on the phone much, let alone in my car, but I did install the microphone. I ran it behind the dash, up the window pillar and across to the rear-view mirror. It has a clip and also a set of sticky tape if the clip doesn't put it in the right position. I've tested it once, and the caller said I sounded normal so whatevs on that.

Good unit if you don't need a CD player
I've been using this a few months now so here is a review.Nice little (and it is small) head unit. Installation is a breeze especially if you've put in a few of these before. I had a wiring harness laying around so that helped. It's significantly lighter then the Panasonic I replaced, mostly due to lack of CD player I imagine. If you've got a lightweight sports car that needs a DIN sized radio this could be a reasonable choice assuming you've stopped hauling around CDs. Being able to skip tracks from the unit keeps me from messing with my phone while driving and that's greatly appreciated.I'm putting this threw a few (very old) Alpine 6" speakers and my ear is not offended. It's no home system but you're in a pretty terrible listening environment to begin with in a car. This combo is loud enough for top down motoring in my Miata. My only gripe is that sometimes I get lost in the menus. It doesn't come up much because 95% of the time I just use the bluetooth. Also I'm never sure why they include the little remote. Who uses the remote? It's the same distance away as the unit itself unless you drive from the back seat.

Bad LCD visibility
I removed one star only because the LCD visibility during the day is not good at all I can only see the writings after sunset... No other complaint so far after one year of use.
