Very effective
The dome comes with a hook and wire to mount it from a tree and hang your feeder inside, however my feeders are on a pole and I needed something to stop the squirrels from climbing up the pole to get to the feeders. This has a screw in the hole that enables you to mount it to a pole and it is very effective at stopping the squirrels, they can no longer climb up the pole.It seems well made and robust so should last a few years.

Huge
This is a lot bigger than I was expecting (having no experience with such things). The box it came in could use a family of 4.That said, its good solid plastic, with good fixings supplied. I got this to deter pigeons, rather than squirrels as the smaller birds can fly under it while pigeons are too big. I also wanted it to keep the food dry, birds around here vanish for weeks at a time. For that it does the job well (I had a metal one before). Its possibly a little highly priced but some things cost what they cost and if you need it and it works, its worth that cost.

It works but it is very expensive
This is a review of Crystals Squirrel Baffle Dome. It works! I wanted to get a god picture of our ‘baffled squirrel’, but he/she gave up and disappeared before I could grab my phone. I am using this for a hanging feeder (rather than one on a pole), and for some reason it just would not hang straight with the fittings that were supplied. It’s a small niggle but it annoyed me when I looked out at it from the house. However, I have now reinstalled it using my own fittings (garden wire and a carabiner) and it is fine. The other problem is the price. For what it is (a big plastic dish), £18.99 is very expensive.

Good strong quality - large
My crystals squirrel dome does the job for me.My dome is large and strong.I put my dome up under my gazebo where the bird feeder sits, we have squirrels and large birds and my feeder has been raided and knocked off. This dome is working so far and was very simple to put up. I did need to swap two parts round but I think it can be used different ways.

Seems to be holding the squizzers at bay
Wow, this is big! Far bigger than I expected, in truth. This seems to work either as a hanging baffle or a pole baffle, hopefully stopping squirrels either way. At the moment it seems to be working, but my very determined squirrels are already trying side-jumping from the conifer nearby and trying to catch at the bottom of the feeder (six foot away) as they arc past, so we'll see. They're a particularly resourceful and determined group of squizzers! I actually do feed them anyway, in a different part of the garden entirely, a good 150 ft away from the bird feeders, and to be fair to them, they don't understand the concept of 'You can have this, but you can't have that'. Since I can't explain it to them, I'm trying this instead. It arrives in a humongous box, and oddly has no instructions at all, so you're left to work out for yourself the exact order that you need to assemble the hook, the two-part plastic screw section that threads through the dome at the top, and the lanyard. Mine didn't have the inset sleeves which would help you to match the size of the central two-part plastic screw to the size of the pole you're trying to protect, but fortunately I was hanging it, so it didn't matter. The one thing I would say is that if you are hanging it, it won't hang completely level; for that, you'd need some kind of bung to make sure that the supplied narrow metal cable held at the centre of the hole through the green plastic two-part screw which goes in and outside of the dome at the top, and nothing like that seems to be supplied (or it might have been with the other spacers that were missing?), so the cable just hangs at an angle inside the 2cm hole down the centre of the screw. I thought that the small thumb-screw might tighten to the cable to somehow achieve this, but I can't see a way how, as it doesn't reach far enough to tighten the cable anyway; it seems to be strictly for if you're using the baffle on a bird-feeding pole. So it is slightly skewed, if you're hanging it--not ideal if things like that bother you. There's a large piece of printed card that comes attached to the baffle with a lot of advertising hype on it, but they might have been better served putting some clear instructions on there--or at the very least on the back of the card.I would imagine that this works better on a feeding station, tightened on halway up the pole, that as a dangling solution. Though the feeding station would need to be quite tall, otherwise the squizzers would just jump from ground level to get past it.However, it does seem very tough and well made. The clear plastic dome is strong and thick enough to do its job well. Right now, because it's nice and new and clean, you don't really notice it at all despite its size, but I'd guess it will soon get a bit marked by rain and, well, sliding squirrels, so it may need regular cleaning to keep it from becoming a very visible fixture. Same if you're using it on the pole of a feeding station as well, where I suspect it may quickly build up a lot of bird-poop from visitors to the feeding points above it.In all then, I'd say this seems very well made, and after four days is still holding the squirrels at bay, and limiting them to their own pile of food I put out at completely the other side of the garden. It certainly offers a fair bit of entertainment as they're trying ever more creative ways to circumvent it. But so far it's still winning.

squirrel baffle - seems good quality
The media could not be loaded. At then time of this review you can buy this baffle for around £19.this comes with a hook and metal cableit is pre fitted with the pole attachements alreadymy feeding pole is not an expensive one but i still had to remove two inserts to get the right size for the diameter of the pole I had. When i had worked out the right size i just had to hand tighten a big green 'bolt' that attached the top green part to the bottom green parts and that clamped the baffle in-between.Then I had to just tighten the thumb screw and it was secured to the pole, nothing to it really but you need two hands to do it.I filled the bird feeders, its now winter and the temperature is below freezing.i had initially installed the baffle too high on the pole, the bottom of the feeders were hitting the baffle. Not a problem to losen the thumb screw and drop the baffle down a few centimeters and then tighten it up again and it was resecured..This baffle seems well made , the plastic is strong and thick it almost feels like a piece of glassIf you are thinking of buying one i would recommend it, I hope the video and this review provides a bit more relevant information and is helpful
