Will the hose suit a K7 machine with onboard hose reel?

To be honest.. when I got this I thought it was going to be a rubber hose , but instead its plastic. So I don't think it would work well on the reel. This is what I have already on the reel and it keeps kinking.

I would describe it as in between rubber / plastic - same as a normal small length. But very handy as 15m..
