This calculator is exactly what I wanted. I love the old typer retro sound and this sounds just like it. Now I don't have small children so I can't say how well the keys would hold up to little ones but I haven't had any issues with them. It turns on and turns off like it should with no issues. I highly recommend. The only down fall is that it was more expensive than the others but I am very happy with it either way.

So I've been doing calculations more than ever with work these days, and so I've been on the hunt for a nice size and easy to use/read calculator, and say goodbye to my Laptop's and/or my smartphone's calculator, which can be tedious to use at times. This calculator is truly a joy to have on my desk, as it doesn’t only add character and color to my desk, but it makes my calculation tasks so much easier and quicker! It is gorgeous in pink (I love Pink), easy to use and read with its larger size and tilted design LCD display. It's also so much fun listening to the clicking sounds as you type, which brings back memories to me of the good old typewriter. I love how this calculator is dual powered; solar and 1 AAA battery, which was included (which is excellent to have for backup), giving me peace of mind, knowing that I will never-to-rarely lose power with this calculator.While this calculator will automatically turn off after 10 minutes or so in standby mode, but I still wish, that this comes with an "OFF" button as well to conserve on battery, despite it being solar powered, and to make it last even longer. Other than that, this is such an excellent quality and a beautifully designed-and-made mechanical calculator, which is well worth the asking price. I absolutely recommend this to others.

This calculator has been a treat to use so far. The large display and big keycaps makes this easy to use. The battery lasts for awhile and can be charged via solar power. It feels well made as the plastic isn't thin and doesn't look cheap. The calculator uses blue mechanical switches which gives you that satisfying tactile feel and classic clicking sound. Obviously this isn't for you if you prefer something more compact, but if you don't mind having a larger calculator, then this is it.

Revised review. The first one had several keys that didn't work, but the company replaced it with no hassle. The new one works fine.The calculator has large buttons with audible clicks so you know you entered the number. No guessing if the key was pressed! The downside is if you're working near other people, the clicking might become annoying after a while.It's not just a pink calculator, its keys are in four shades of pink, which is a nice touch.The angled LCD display is easy to read.

I love this calculator. I love the pink color and love the big buttons. I like the very large display because my vision is bad even with corrective lenses. I purchased for work because I hate using the huge adding machine that they provide. This is just more compact and easier to see and read. I have had no issues with the buttons sticking so far. Great calculator at a great price.

Great all around, keys are mechanical therefore are satisfying to strike. Good rhythmic feel to using it, superior to flimsy small calculators or your cell phone. Better than expected, highly recommended!

Cute mechanical key calculator! I got this for my daughter, who is into the clicky keyboards and it happened to be pink to boot. Will she use it much? Doubtful, but I think she'll get a kick out of it.Works good with both solar and battery. The keys work great, and you can easily pop off the caps and seethe blue switches if you want. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap out the caps with your own custom ones if you really needed :)Anyway, if you know someone who's into mechanical keyboards and likes pink and needs or could use a calculator, you could do far worse than this!I initially took a star off for the price, but I went back and looked - as of this moment, it's on sale with an additional coupon and it's only $17 in my cart. So I added the star back.
