Gator Frameworks Flexible Black Gooseneck for Microphones, 13" Length (GFW-MIC-GN13)

Somewhat heavy duty gooseneck and came in the length and diameter I needed. I thought this was a standard size unit I ordered a single one from other seller w/o looking at the measurements and it was much too thin and flimsy and of no use to me. These say 1 lb max can be mounted but it feels strong and firm enough to handle more and w/both male and female ends you can combine them. I am pleased to have found them in the 10 pack as well. After I finish my project I will have several left over and will easily find uses for the remainders.

I've never had a Gator Frameworks product that felt underbuilt and this gooseneck is no exception. Sturdy, solid, easy to position, holds its shape. Love it!

I love this gooseneck! It allows me the space to sing close to the mic and still play my guitar without a boom rod. It's sturdy, hold it's shape, and works great. It's easy to transport and set up as well. I am very happy with this purchase, and I would recommend this to all singers who need just a little extra space between themselves and the mic stand.

Over all a decent product. Very flexible and I can get the right reach and position for the mic. But the gooseneck is too weak at the base to hold a wired mic. It will sag in the position I need it to be at. My solution was to put a piece of pvc pipe that was about 3.5 inches long over the gooseneck at the base. I then reinforced it with black gaffer's tape. Problem solved. If it wasn't for the weak base, this would get 5 stars across the board.

I find these 13" goosenecks very sturdy/stiff. They have no problem holding up my Sennheiser e 835 mics (11.6 oz.) at any angle and seem sturdy enough to hold up significantly more weight than that. I like that they come in black like my mic stands.

Worked OK for what I wanted: a flexible mount to position a DIY pop filter. Still, it is just able to maintain position on the horizontal with the 4 .2oz weight of the pop filter. For =vertical upright positioning, it will hold a normal SM57-type mic fine, just be aware that at some point if you get too far away from vertical, it will eventually no longer be able to keep from sagging. Good overall value and quality.

I use this to support an X-Y array or Rode-M5 mics suspended from overhead. I can quickly focus the directionality with the gooseneck and it stays put. When purchased I had considered inserting some copper wire to stiffen it as other reviewers had done, but it has not been necessary for my application with the lighter mics. For another gig, I used it to support a Zoom H6 on a tall stand from the back of a theater. I could flex it back to arm tracks and start recording, then straighten it up to it's 8-foot high above the crowd position for the show.

Threading into a tablet holder works as it should. Unit is strong yet flexible with a good hold in position.
