Why did you pick this product vs others?:Well, I'm probably breaking with the main crowd on this one. I have recently gone on a spicy / fiery sauce kick: I've ordered about 15 different boutique hot sauces from Amazon, including some products with up to 30 sample sauce varieties. I was intrigued by this product and its feedback, and despite its much higher price tag I decided to add it to my next order to try. Hot sauce:I am extremely underwhelmed with this product compared to other hot sauces I've recently been trying. First of all, the consistency is very loose; more like water than ketchup, so slathering it onto hot wings or or fish tacos and it just falls off and ends up in the bottom of a bowl or drips out and makes a mess. Second of all, the flavor is very much like other big-brand hot sauces like Tabasco sauce, with heavy vinegar notes and very mild heat. There isn't much flavor profile either, no spices or aromatics, just peppers and vinegar. I would say if you like the flavor of Tabasco, buy Tabasco, but don't waste your money on this, it's way over priced for what it is. It does come in a unique glass bottle with a wood cap and a nice presentation box, but this isn't worth it. I would not buy this again, and would not even recommend it to a friend who was interested in finding some new hot sauce that isn't on your regular grocery store shelf. I rate it 2 stars because its isn't terrible, its basically just like Tabasco sauce in a different bottle, but not worth the price, and not worth ordering online when your local store has plain-Jane hot sauce that is equivalent.

This pepper is so good and tastes like everything I eat, I have to get it, I don't regret buying it, it's the best pepper I've ever found.
