This playpen is amazing, totally worth every penny. We got the largest size because we use it to block off an area in our living room for our 9 month old that crawls and is starting to walk. She walks along the gate and uses it as a support easily, and it is sturdy enough to hold her 25 pound weight as she shakes it around. The hinges are totally customizable and click in securely at whatever angle you need them to. I love that we can take panels out or flip them around to create a custom gate shape. Our baby loves the different puzzle panels and the door panel is great to utilize walking in and out, it is definitely child-proof as it can be challenging for me to open smoothly (which in my opinion is a good thing!) I highly recommend this gate!

We purchased the largest size of this wooden playpen, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. That said, I do think the full $239 price is pretty absurd, and even the discounted price of $189 still feels relatively high for what it is. Realistically, I’d place its value somewhere around $100–$125. That being said, we did go ahead and buy it, and if you can comfortably afford it, it’s still a good product. Assembly was relatively easy my husband was able to put it together in about 20 minutes. One thing to note is that you’ll want to make sure you assemble it in a way that allows for easy folding later on. We haven’t needed to fold it up since setting it up, but we did test it, and it was fairly simple to fold and reassemble. I really like the flexibility of being able to shape it however you want, which makes it convenient if you need to move it between rooms or adjust the layout. It’s also very lightweight, which makes repositioning it much easier than expected. From a quality standpoint, it feels sturdy and well-made. My baby is just starting to pull herself up to stand, and she’s already using the sides to hold onto and play with the built-in features. We haven’t had any concerns with stability or it being impacted by her weight. The wood is smooth and well-sanded, and after inspecting it, I don’t see any risk of splinters. We’ve had it for about two months now, and she plays in it every day. Overall, it’s aesthetically pleasing, functional, and serves its purpose well. While I do think it’s overpriced, I’m still very pleased with the purchase and think it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a wooden playpen and are comfortable with the cost.
