Seki EDGE602- Folding Eyelash Curler

After several attempts to use this and get the results I was looking for, here is my summary.Pros: Compact (love that!). Will bend, curl eyelashes if you press hard enough. I can see my eyelashes against the plastic easier than against my regular metal curler. That's a plus when your near vision is not great.My cons: Somewhat awkward when I am holding my compact 10x10 magnifier mirror for travel, and trying to curl lashes with this item. Whereas my metal curler doesn't require force to curl, I think if I pressed much harder on the Seki I am concerned it will break. As it I, to get the same "curl" effect I have to press hard which leaves a dent in my thumb for over an hour, lol. For me, it doesn't grab all the lashes like others have noted. That was the decision point maker for me, since it is a little challenging to capture lashes and get a good curl while holding the mirror at the same time. This was disappointing since I wanted this to work for me.* My overall review is this is a cool product, will work for a lot of users, just not for me.

A few years ago I went on a quest to find the perfect curler. I tried many pinchy ones, heated ones, cheap ones and expensive dept store ones. This Seki curler leaves them all in the dust. I have deep set eyes so many just don’t fit. This one fits and the way the space is and the white color, I can see very well how my curl is going and gently pump it out for the perfect soft curl. The pad on this one is less prone to splitting than others I’ve tried AND they give you an extra. It’s more compact and fits really easily in any makeup case. The same cannot be said for really any other. The way it folds up protects it and it unfolds easily to fit in your hand without any awkwardness or diggy wire handles cutting into your knuckles. I bought my first one of these in 2015 and it finally broke when it was dropped recently. I’ve had other plastic ones beak with normal use and definitely couldn’t stand up to a fall. This one had been dropped before and used for several years before I had to replace it. As inexpensive as this one is, it delivered fantastic performance and longevity. Just bought the replacement and it’s as good as it always was. Please don’t ever discontinue this.

I have a nickel sensitivity so can't use metal eyelash curlers. I had been using a different kind and although it worked well, it would break after a couple months of use so was looking for something that might be more durable. I ordered this one and it definitely looks like a better design that should last longer. The box also says "lifetime guarantee." So far it has worked well; it doesn't curl as well but good enough and doesn't pinch my eyelid or lashes like other curlers do. So far, I am happy with my purchase as long as it lasts a long time.

I am not a review person but this is legit! I believe this is better than shiseido metal eyelash curler. I LOVE THIS!

I tried to find a replacement for the identical ones sold at Target under the Sonia Kashuk brand I've been using for years. Like other reviews say, this one seems to be the same. An eyelash curler is one of my must haves, and I learned long ago that I can't use a metal one. It would cause skin irritation, similar to people who are allergic to cheap metal jewelry. I was always disappointed that Target didn't sell replacement pads for them, but I loved the folding one so much, I bought several at $10 crack.Since I found this on Amazon, I did also purchas replacement pads and found they do work in my Sonia curlers. Replacement pads for the metal brands did not.At one point Sonia sold black ones - but I found that the white ones, though the show makeup dirt more, are much easier to see that you have your lashes in place as you are curling them.I don't know why Sonia brand has gone to a metal and full-sized curler, like all the other brands. This folding one is great for travel. And, again, I can't use the metal ones. I had tried another plastic brand years ago, but it was very cumbersome and you couldn't see where your lashes were as you tried to get them in the curler.

I used to have the one that didn't fold and it was amazing! My eyelashes looked so curly and long, I loved it, until I broke it. I bought this one and for some reason it's not the same that is why the 3 rating. It works but not as well as the other one. It seems that the one that doesn't fold has a bigger space where you insert the eyelashes and that made a big difference. I can't find the one that doesn't fold anywhere. If the manufacturer has one in stock, I want it. Thanks!

I have been using this eyelash curler for years. It’s the only one that curls my straight lashes.

I'm delighted that I found this eyelash curler again! I'm unable to use metal ones due to skin sensitivity, so plastic wins. I had this curler many years ago and loved it, but then found Sonia Kashuk at Target, a very similar product. (Glad I stocked up before they were discontinued!) This works great, giving me a nice upward curl with hardly any effort. Another plus is that refills are sold online as well - no need to replace the curler. Works for me! 😊👍❤
