I was skeptical, because the few times I've taken a chance buying dresses on Amazon the quality has been so low I've been afraid the fabric was flammable and the appearance has been even worse. For the low price, though, this dress was comfortable and looked nice enough to wear somewhere I wanted to appear professional. It would be perfect for someone interviewing for an entry-level administrative job or for daily work wear in a semi-professional environment. It also could work as a cocktail dress. The criss-cross detail is flattering. I also bought a sleeveless version (dark red with thin white stripes) in large, because reviews made me think I needed to size up. However, the medium is plenty roomy and a great length for someone who is 5'8" with an athletic, proportionate build. I liked the look of that dress, too, both the sleeveless style and the color. I'm glad to have found this brand's a-line "work business" style dress, and will most likely buy at least one more.

I loved this dress! Wore it to a wedding. I have wide shoulders, narrow hips and a belly that makes me look 3-4 months pregnant with the wrong clothes. I’m V shaped with a belly. This dress flattered my body type and made me extremely happy. I haven’t been happy in a dress in so long! The x design and the A line gave the illusion I had a flattering shape! It was also comfortable and made well.

I have two dresses from this company. One is made with the bodice and skirt the same material, the other is this one. The top is sort of boucle-like and the skirt is smooth - like my other dress. I always wash my clothing on the cold setting and tumble dry on extra low. The fabric on the bodice of this dress shrank and the skirt did not. My other dress is perfect with the same wash/dry method. I suggest the discontinue of the use of the bodice material used on this dress.

Excellent fit and style. Fabric is good quality with a little stretch and not see through at all. Really great for the price so I will definitely get this in different colors/styles!

It’s wonderful to have a dress that you don’t have to worry about the back zipper. Alas, I don’t have a home zipper-upper and have had to be creative. This dress is perfect. And the fit is very flattering.

This is the first dress I have ever ordered off Amazon. I was VERY hesitant from the reviews and concerned about quality due to the affordable price. The only slightly negative I will say, if you are close to one size in measurements, size up. It fits, but is a bit snug in the waist. The fabric is heavier than I expected, and it hangs great! The design is very flattering for curves! The color is true to the photo. I am not a dress person but needed a conservative dress than did not look frumpy. I would suggest anyone looking at this dress try it. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The dress might look a little "old school" in the photo but it actually fits really nice and is super comfortable with a professional clean style.
