I can't talk about how well this actually works because I haven't had to actually use it yet -- thankfully. What I love is the size and how well the clip works. I clipped it to the waist of my jeans and after an hour of walking the dog it hadn't budged! The can is definitely larger than a standard small can of mace (no more than twice the size at most), but a lot smaller than a can of bear spray. Perfect for clipping on your jacket or pants. We have a lot of dogs in our neighborhood who jump fences as we walk by and for a while I stopped taking my lab-mix on walks out of fear. This makes me feel a lot safer. Glad I found it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants that extra little layer of safety during their walks.

Use when riding bike in case of dog attacks. Have had to use spray before in defense from dogs in several different areas . It is a good defense for any scenario.

The best one spray, and you have anybody crying. Best self-defense tool I've ever used used it once on a pair of crazy those dogs that never ever attacked me again I would buy this a million times the size of the can is good can fit in anybody's pocket super effective. Very easy to use, all you have to do is slide. Your finger under the safety and pull. I heard those dogs cry. Definitely made them irritated. I don't know what they made this can out of but it feels like titanium very durable

Nice size with a good stream. Would have given 5* if it would of also had a ring clasp for attaching on to the lead. The clip works but I have to get it off my pants that have a tshirt and or coat over waistband.

Not too big not too small. Hope I never have to use it. But if I need to I hope it works. Fits pretty well on my belt. I spray lawns was looking for something to help if a dog ever gets at me which has happened a few times but thankfully never turned into anything bad. I feel better carrying it as a non lethal substitute.

I bought this spray just in case but thinking I’d never use it. Well. I got to see the dog pepper spray in action. My dog and I got charged by a German shepherd. A neighbor had their german shepherd off leash in the front yard. I saw it in the front yard (we were across the street from that house) so I got my pepper spay in hand just in case. Sure enough, we get almost passed the house and the dog charges us. They owners start yelling but the dog has 0 recall. I get between the charging dog and my dog with my pepper spray but it’s not stopping so I spray the dog and it turned off real fast. The male owner starts curing me out, yelling at me, saying the dog wouldn’t do anything when it just charged 50ft growling and barking and wouldn’t be called off. But the wind was also blowing in the direction of the cursing owner who was following me and cursing me out. The pepper spray blew right in in his face too 😂😂😂 my hand got singed with spray but all the pepper spray landed on the shepherd and the stupid owner. Serves them both right. I got a little of the pepper spray on my hand and had to washing it off right away cause it really burns, but it saved me and my dog both. Highly recommend. It was very easy to use and worked great.

Bought this for an older person who regularly walks her small dog. This will give her a higher level of security against free running dogs in the neighborhood.

For the first time in all the 3 years I have carried this brand of spray on my daily walks, I finally had to use it on an aggressive loose dog that charged and attacked my dog today (as I write this review). It’s important to test this product in advance so you know how to handle it in real life scenarios. Unfortunately for me I stumbled a bit while trying to access it in a real situation because it had been a year or so since I last tested it. While the aggressive dog was attacking my dog, I panicked and couldn’t get control of it in a timely manner. I fumbled but was able to spray and point directly at the dog’s eyes for a straight 7-10 seconds which caused it to loosen its grip on my dog and run off, forehead covered in orange goop. Is it effective? If you ask me, yes! I’m so fortunate I had it on me at that time and recommend for all dog owners or joggers to carry something like this with you when walking in public. Aim for the sensitive areas like eyes, nose, mouth for best effect. Good luck and hope product can help another dog or person in need!
