Not the most ergonomic
The media could not be loaded. There are things I like about this gimbal, things I don't, and 1 outright issue.Things I like:- Power: torque is good. I tried it with a lumix s5iix with a cage on it and the amount of clearance I had was insane so I do believe it would take something like a c70. That said, like all gimbals it still struggles with extreme tilt on the y axis.- Controls: lots of them -the back button trigger and dials, another dial on the side, and the joystick at the front. You can control so many camera parameters it's great. Being able to up my iso from the side dial was nice albeit digital focus didn't seem to do anything.Things I don't like:- Ergonomics: firstly that big block at the bottom of the handle isn't comfortable. In flashlight mode it juts into your wrist so you have to use the tripod just to have somewhere to put your other hand. Secondly the record start and stop as well as the joystick are so far left sticking out it's hard to reach with my thumb, and definitely not comfortably whilst holding the gimbal. It's just not a comfortable gimbal to use.- shape: it doesn't fold or come apart or anything. It's a bit of a pain to pack in a camera bag.- Mounting: there are Arri locking mounts on the base but that's it- in portrait (vertical) mlde the joystick won't let me tilt up and down. Why? In fairness that seems to be a common omission on gimbals so not unique to the 4E but true nevertheless.- It's heavy. In my opinion it is. Add that to the poor ergonomics and its a challenge to use.- The app - first you have to give it access to everything on your phone just to open the app to see what the app does. Then you realise it doesn't do much that you can't do directly through the screen already. The thing that is definitely wrong:- See the video I attached. There is a mode called "Go". I don't know what it's supposed to do but the gimbal just starts shaking uncontrollably. Good luck not dropping the gimbal with your camera on it. Firmware update or something is required to fix whatever this bug is.Conclusions:Overall 4* is actually quite generous because it's far from my go-to gimbal thanks mostly to the poor ergonomics and heavy weight. With that said, there is some sheer power that means that if I need to throw a big lens on and don't want to do anything too funky, I know this gimbal will probably have my back

Amazing piece of kit!
Wow this is a brilliant piece of kit! This is my first use of a professional crane. I’m blown away with the results. The crane was packaged well, it feels great quality opening the packaging. Very luxurious. The crane itself pretty heavy. The operation is amazingly smooth. The stabilisation is impeccable, it’s really impressed me and my work instantly looks more professional.I haven’t gotten the app up and running yet but the crane itself is amazing!!I’m looking forward to taking this out on a real shoot. I’m a very happy beginner videographer!

What happened Zhiyun 😭
What happened to ZHIYUN, they were the best. Crane 2 amazing in its time, I still have 2 of them as well as a Crane V2, M3, Weebill 3 and S but they fall short with stabilisation or the smoothness settings. It's like they binned the old algorithm and could never get it right again. So frustrating. Fine tuning settings in the app are crazy. You used to have the best man and machine connection, I keep trying your new gimbals in the hope you win it back one day - maybe next time. Look at the old Crane 2, if you can replicate its behaviour and responsiveness with your newer gimbals you've got a winner! I hope you read this ZHIYUN, bring it back please 🙏
