Blackstone 5011 22” Tabletop Griddle Hood, Powder Coated Steel, Black. Fits Non-Omnivore Griddles.

This hood was a great addition to my 22-inch Blackstone. It was simple to install once I figured out it was easier to disregard the instructions and take the brackets off the lid first and fasten them to the grill body before re-attaching the lid to the brackets. The hood is sturdy and does a great job of holding the heat in. It really speeds up the cooking process. It looks good and will do a nice job of protecting the grill since I leave it outside most of the time. So far I am very happy with this purchase. I think they should just include the hood in the first place, but I won't complain since I got the griddle on clearance for a good price.

Fits my 22” Blackstone perfectly. Now I don’t need to pack around a steaming dome in my gear. Makes keeping heat in, much easier and melting or steaming food a breeze!

I purchased a Members Mark 22 inch griddle grill and immediately knew that I would need a cover for the grill for cooking and weather protection. Upon my Internet search, I saw that some folks used this cover for their same branded griddle grill and took a chance. It fits! The cover is very nice quality. So very happy I took a chance and purchased.

Wow!! Many of the reviews are correct. Impossible to figure out how to install. Absolutely no instructions and the mounting brackets are designed in a way that installation makes no sense. After about 45 minutes and seeing no way this would fit, I finally had to call and wait 35 minutes for them to send me a picture. It still made no sense but I did as was told and spread the brackets to almost bending point to get them in place for mounting. It worked and it installed and works well. This is not even close to a design I would have made. Hope you’re smarter than me to figure it out on your own. Just frustrating for a poor design for a premium product. in the end it all worked and works well.

I installed this in less than 15 minutes, without instruction. The lid fits perfectly and the cover fits, a little tight, but fits. I love it.

This makes my Blackstone much better. Easier to protect from the elements as well as keeping it cleaner.Easy to install, fits perfectly.

I ordered the griddle hood and it arrived in a timely manner. It was welled packed and in good condition when received, it contained all the hardware needed to assemble to the Blackstone Griddle. Fit and finish was very good assembly went well but I can see where a third hand might be advantageous. I have used the griddle several times since installing this hard cover , it works very well and easily and is completely out of the way when raised. It can also be lowered or closed while cooking to help retain the heat as a melting dome would.I’ve been wanting to try a pizza on the griddle with a pizza stone and to use the lid to make it oven like. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase and it works well to protect the griddle from the elements that might blow into my covered porch.
