Rubber-Cal Treadmill Mat

We bought two of these, one to go under a Nordic Track x22 incline treadmill (I mention the brand because this treadmill is a beast, larger dimensions than most home treadmills and very heavy and thus was having a hard time finding an economical solution that wasn’t too small) and the other to go under a home gym, both of which would be resting on hardwood floors. We ended up going with a different solution for the home gym, but the one for the treadmill is excellent. Solid, heavy and doing its job well. The other we actually cut up smaller to use under an elliptical. We had bought another brand (read: cheaper) for it and man, that thing was a piece of junk. These mats are awesome, not super thick but nice and dense. They stay flat too, unlike the cheap one that would not flatten out no matter how much time we gave it.

I thought it would be thicker... does not eliminate vibration on my treadmill. My treadmill is located though upstairs on wooden flooring so I don't think it's possible to fully eliminate anyways

The mat is what else? A rubber mat! But it's perfect if you need a rather larger mat for your gym equipment. The mat is thick as it needs to be, not too heavy nor too light. It works wonders on reducing the transfer of noise and vibration to the downstairs apartment. It's easy to clean and protects your floor rather efficient. The heat produced by the treadmill will not affect this mat and it will not come apart like others do. It's not completely black, as you will see specks of white or other colors all around the mat surface on both sides. It works well over carpet and over other types of flooring (tested the noise reduction capacity by moving the treadmill around the different floors). The price is ok if you can get it to be shipped to you for free.
