Still the best.
I have been a user of the original AAWireless adapter alongside my Android phone since it was introduced in 2022. It sits in my Range Rover Sport and apart from a sporadic connectivity glitch has worked faultlessly ever since. When it throws a wobbler, which hasn’t happened that often, for the most part it has quickly righted itself without need for intervention on my part. On the occasion when I needed help, the AAWireless customer support was first class.I have experimented with other manufacturers Android Auto wireless adapters but none of them compares to the AAWireless device in terms of functionality, performance and reliability. My adapter is still working perfectly today but I decided to upgrade to version TWO to take advantage of the improved design, functionality and Amazon special price (£43.19).Out of the box, its noticeably slimmer and more rounded than its predecessor, which doesn’t benefit me much as mine is tucked away in the centre armrest console, but its more pleasing design is definitely an improvement, especially if there is nowhere to hide it. The other obvious difference is the inclusion of an LED illuminated multi-function button which is used for pairing and switching between phones if you share the car with someone else. The colour of the LED changes according to the pairing status culminating in a solid blue when everything has connected successfully. (All of which is explained in the accompanying Installation Guide). The ability to be able to switch phones in my dual user car being a significant advantage over its predecessor.Setup in my vehicle was fairly straightforward but not as simple as the included Easy Setup Guide suggested, (Plug into your car – Connect your phone to the AAWireless – Enjoy Android Auto). I had to jump through a few more hoops, which was a bit more time consuming but not difficult.Operationally, it is identical to my previous adapter. Connection times for the phone to automatically pair with the car, at circa 20 seconds are identical to its predecessor. The AAWireless App and features are the same and like its predecessor it allows you to tweak various settings, troubleshoot the device and wirelessly update the software. It’s early days but pairing and connectivity have remained steadfast throughout. My main use of the adapter is being able to access Google Maps and Waze, instead of the built in Range Rover mapping and navigation, which it does faultlessly. The advantage being that the mapping features are far superior to the built-in vehicle mapping and I always have access to the latest maps and traffic information. At no cost unlike the crazy price that Land Rover charges to update the maps.In summary, this is more of an evolution if you are upgrading from the original AAWireless adapter but if you are purchasing for the first time, I can personally vouch for the fact that this and its predecessor are a must have if you have a vehicle that doesn’t have wireless Android Auto as standard and want to avoid messy cables trailing everywhere.

Great little unit for wireless android auto, app make it very easy to setup.
I previously had a carlinkit a2a adapter, had this for 2 years and mostly worked great. Only annoying thing was occasionally it would drop out when driving and then need to reconnect. When I saw the AA Wireless Two had been released and was now in the uk, decided to get one and try it out. Its a nice small compact unit, the android app works well and has some nice options you can setup with the device. For example auto-standby can be enabled if your USB port never powers down. Firmware updates are dead easy due to the app. So far it hasnt dropped once, even in the spots my old one did. Sound quality is great, connects every time. Would def recommend.

It works much better than wire..
Absolute quality! I was a bit dubious whether it will work as wired connection wasn't stable and kept dropping. This was my last attempt before replacing full head unit, costing x5 more. It works a treat, connects as it should when I get in car and stays on until I turn ignition off. Highest recommendation from me. Worth every penny.

Works well.
Works great with Seat Ateca / Samsung S24.Had it for a couple of weeks now & has worked every time. Takes about 30 seconds to connect. Have had no dropouts etc.Small enough to hide by sticking to top of charger cubby hole with command strip etc.Good product.

Works for some (or many), but unfortunatly not for me
I have spent nearly a day now to get this to work but to no avail. I have been following the manual to the letter and also read up on online advice but it still will not establish a stable connection between my phone and the device. My phone connects very well, stable and quickly via bluetooth to my car for phone calls and when plugged in to the car, Android Auto starts immediately and works without a hitch. But when connecting the adapter to the car, it starts blinking green for ever, the phone shows briefly "connected for calls" to AAWireless TWO adapter but never stops blinking green. After endless trials I have given up and will return. Pity, since it seems to be a good device which works well for some (or many) but not for me. FYI: My phone is a Huawai Mate 30 Pro and the car is Skoda Scala with a Bolero MIB3 Infotainent system.

Amazing!
First time I've written a review on Amazon because I just wanted to say how much of a lifesaver this device is.Before I bought it, wired Android Auto would constantly disconnect, it was a nightmare. Initially I bought a cheaper wireless Android Auto device but it had exactly the same issues. The connection would drop every 30 seconds. This AAWireless has been perfect from day one and has never disconnected in several months of constant use. It connects to my phone within seconds of the car starting and audio quality is perfect. It's just like using a car with wireless Android Auto built in. If you've had issues with a cheaper device I would definitely try this one instead before giving up!

Almost seamless
Perfect for android auto in my Suzuki swift sport and pretty much as soon as you turn the ignition on (not instantaneous) but you have to make sure you have both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on as it needs both.I have accidently turned off my WiFi to enable a hotspot before and it took me a little bit to discover that it needed it.The app is really easy to use, once you configure everything you really don't even need to touch it. I haven't had the signal fall and it feels high quality. It's tiny and It comes with a USB C to A cable which allows me to tuck the device around some trim and out of the way.
