Restoraderm Soothing Moisturizer

This moisturizer is very hydrating and gentle on sensitive skin. It absorbs well without feeling greasy and helps relieve dryness and itching. My skin feels soft and comfortable all day. It’s fragrance-free and perfect for daily use. I’m very happy with this product and would buy it again.

If you have dry, scaly, red and cracked skin this is a great addition to your routine. It's not as thick and salve-like as many eczema lotions so you may need to reapply throughout the day. After my shower, I put hydrocortisone salve around my eyes, mouth, and problem areas, then put this lotion all over my body, including my face. Occasionally if it's really cold out (midwestern winters) I'll put more cream or an additional lotion on since my face and hands will literally crack and bleed if I don't do something. I have never found any ONE thing that "cures" my eczema, but this combination has really helped me!

I had spotty pink itchy rash on my shoulders and back. Dermatologist diagnosed it as atopic dermatitis (Eczema). Dr had me on steroid cream and I knew I had to get off that stuff. Over the course of several years and trying many other products, this is what works best for me: - After drying off from short warm shower (not hot), apply a small amount to affected areas and spread it around so it will mostly dry and soak in a bit. I had to use a rounded spatula to get my upper back. - After a few minutes apply Desitin diaper rash cream on top of the Cetaphil and rub it in until it mostly disappears. Be careful, little goes a long way. The Cetaphil moisturizes and the Desitin locks it in. That's my routine and it has kept me off the steroid cream for 1/2 a year now. I don’t have eczema but very sensitive skin, and sometimes get bumps on my arms or legs, or shaving bumps, or heat rash from riding my bike or running in 90 plus degrees. It’s also super humid in Florida! I’ve spent upwards of $50-$100 on lotions, potions, serums, etc. until my dermatologist recommended this line of products and my skin has been much better after only a month! I felt relief immediately from dry itching and my feet are are even soft and smooth. I’m amazed! I do miss the myriad of smells from my face wash, body wash, and lotions, but I can always wear perfume and it’s definitely worth having skin I love again! PS I am in my 40’s and the face products have done more to smooth wrinkles, add a youthful glow and turn back the clock than Botox ever did.

(wife's review) I don't often write reviews but I wanted to share success! I have had large patches of eczema on my hands, legs and feet for several years. The patches were large, itchy, sometimes painful and embarrassing. I have tried multiple products and diet changes that only provided minimal temporary relief. I have been using this Cetaphil Pro Eczema Soothing Moisturizer lotion in combination with the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar for several weeks. It's been a game changer! I use the soap consistently but I'm not always good about applying the lotion. Nonetheless over the last several weeks the eczema has almost cleared. It no longer itches and is only visible if I look hard for it. I expect it to clear completely as I continue to use both products. I'm extremely happy with these products.

My son has been using this for several years. It is relatively expensive but it has been highly effective at reducing his (mild) eczema.

This product while helpful for creating a barrier short term, causes sensitivities and irritation of my skin. I have allergic reactions to this product. Be ware of the chemicals used in it especially if suffering from eczema and skin issues.
