I recently got a new Spotting Scope from Leupold but I really didn't want to pay 599.00 for the tripod. I started looking for a decent tripod to use and found BOG. A friend of mine had one and I checked it out in-person and was impressed with it. I pulled the trigger on this one. I have had it over a month now and once I got the ARCA adapter from BOG (also on here) I was in business. This tripod is easy to use, adjusts simply and effectively and is very stable. It does exactly what I needed it to do. It is not too heavy and not too light (meaning flimsy). It is sturdy and I believe it can take some punishment. Everything fit together beautifully. It locks up pretty good and is secure so I do not worry about expensive glass taking a plummet and getting damaged. It collapses to an easily carriable package that can be strapped to the side of a pack. It functions exactly like I wanted it to and was not cost prohibitive. I really like it and think it was the best purchase I could have made for the purpose.

This is a great tripod. I really like the BOG Infinite Tripod Arca mount and ball head swivel. I have the BOG Death grip and really liked that as well but found the firearm moves within the clamp. This tripod with the arca mount not only securely attaches the rifle to the tripod without extra play but also reduces weight with the removal of the death grip attachment. Shooting from the tripod is great, easily adjust the height and appropriate level with the bubble level. My only negative is a personal preference, I liked the Death Grips leg locking clamps versus the Infinite Tripods twist to lock system. Overall it's a great tripod.

This is my first BOG tripod. It's definitely a step up from the other brand I have. I would say that it's worth the price, but it's actually not that expensive compared to some brands. I just couldn't see paying $700-$1000+ for a tripod. This tripod will probably suit the needs of 99% of users. It's extremely well built and intuitive. I really love the ARCA swivel mount on top. This tripod should last me a long time. I recommend it.

Great Tripod for the cost. Very stable and with a usable Ball head. Not a $500 tripod by any means. But look at it's Price! I upgraded the ball head to a 52mm form Amazon and with a few adaptors made a tripod that pans, tilts, and clamps as good as my friends High end tripods that cost upwards of $500. And I have less than $235 in mine.

Way better price than buying at an outdoors store. The versatility on this is awesome. One adapter and you can glass and shoot with the same tripod. Only taken it on one hunt so far but it performed as it should have. Great tripod.

This is a big upgrade for me coming from the clamp-style Bog offerings. Much better range of motion, strong lock up, and smooth tilt and pan. Decently lightweight for the size. Should make multiple shots easier when calling in a double or triple coyote.

Just pony up and get this. So much better than any of the dozen others I've had over the years. I could have bought this 3x over if I had just started with it. Solid construction, good range of motion, holds a full size pew, holds recoil well. Just get it.
