What a novel idea!
Quite the genius invention, this here. Very simply, its like 6 ball points on a single pen that you fill with the oil of your choice (instead of ink, or you could do ink if that's your thing) and you eventually apply on your scalp. I was up and running in no time after a quick glance at the included instructions; taking it apart, filling it with a blend of jojoba, rosemary, and a few drops of castor oil (don't over do castor, its very viscous and could clog). First learning moment/tip: I did not fill the tube entirely to the total 15ml capacity of oil, actually less than half that since it was for a single application. My first few pumps did not bring any oil down into the applicator chamber. I was worried I did something wrong.. after studying everything closely for a few minutes I figured it out. There is a white piston inside the large oil chamber and each pump with your thumb or index finger brings the piston down. When you don't fill it up all the way, you need to pump it multiple times to bring the piston further down to eliminate air and create the necessary vacuum inside it. It says as much in the manual in slightly unclear language but all good. Once I brought enough oil into the bottom chamber (as seen in my video) I tried applying it on my arm to see how much oil was being discharged by each roller nib and it definitely does not saturate with oil, which is good in a way. I applied it on my scalp and then took it for a run against my facial skin under my beard, on my chin and nearby areas. Felt great and it was nice to soothe the skin there as well. Next learning moment/tip: after completely using up the oil in both chambers, to refill the large chamber you need to push the piston back down. This can be done via the back of the included black brush OR the included syringe. However, if you don't want to entirely fill it up with oil and use it as storage, and only want to fill it up each time with enough oil for a single application, I would recommend not pushing the piston all the way down to the opposite end. Just push it enough to make room for the amount of oil you want to use. Eliminates having to pump it too many times later to get the oil to come down. After using it for a bit, I felt the entire exterior of this thing was oily, so either I didn't tighten everything appropriately OR there is a leak somewhere along the 3 or 4 different components that come apart. Need to investigate that further. Will update this review if I have anything notable to share.

Leaked
Leaked, awkward piecing product together. Ended up finding something else much more effective.

Functional
The design is sleek and functional. The applicator comes with a 15ml mini bottle that’s perfect for storing my Minoxidil or essential oil serum. The comb-like massage head is soft yet firm enough to stimulate the scalp without feeling harsh. It feels well-made, lightweight, and easy to hold, which makes it a pleasure to use. One of the best features of this tool is how simple it is to use. I just fill the mini bottle with my chosen serum, screw on the comb applicator, and press lightly to dispense the product directly onto my scalp. The design ensures the serum goes exactly where it’s needed, no mess, no waste, and no sticky fingers. The massage feature is what sets this tool apart. While applying the product, the comb gently massages the scalp, which not only feels amazing but also helps improve blood circulation. I’ve read that better circulation can support hair growth, and this applicator makes it so easy to give my scalp the attention it deserves. After just a few weeks of use, I’ve noticed that my scalp feels healthier and less dry. The targeted application ensures that every drop of Minoxidil or serum gets absorbed right where it’s needed. I’ve also noticed less shedding when I brush my hair, which is a big win for me. The massage element is incredibly relaxing, almost like a mini spa treatment at home. It’s become a calming ritual at the end of the day. My hair seems to be growing in more evenly, and while it’s too early to say if this tool is solely responsible, I do feel like it’s helping me get better results from my serums. This applicator has completely replaced my old way of applying Minoxidil. No more fumbling with droppers or worrying about overapplying. The mini bottle is portable, so I can even take it with me when I travel. Cleaning the applicator is also super easy, just rinse it under warm water, and it’s ready to go.

leaks, not much comes out, hassle to refill large applicator
1/9/25 UPDATE: Decrease from 4* to 2*. Refilling the long applicator is not as simple as the small applicator. For the small applicator, you just remove the top and pour the liquid in. The long applicator takes more steps and more work. When you push the button on top, it works similar to airless pump containers where the bottom slowly moves up, pushing the product through the opening on the opposite side. Once that bottom is pushed all the way to the top, it stays there. You have to push it back down from the inside of the container and the opening to this container is very narrow. Maybe that’s what the syringe is for, so you can use the tip to push the bottom back down. That’s very troublesome and touching the inside of the container can cause contamination. The small applicator easier, but it’s so small you have to constantly refill it often. I end up using a different brand instead that is easy to refill, has a larger reservoir, and more liquid comes out. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you have liquid left over in the section that you dispense the liquid into in the long applicator, then it will leak. You have to make sure to only dispense the amount you need so you don’t leave any in that section. The short applicator also leaks even though it’s got a silicone cover on the top and bottom. You can see liquid in the bottom and if you tilt the bottle, then some comes out of the top. Both don’t dispense as much liquid as another brand applicator that I have. I have to keep scrolling it around to get more liquid out with the long applicator. And for the short applicator, I have to keep pressing the top so more will come out. I store minoxidil liquid in the long one and batana oil in the short. Overall, it’s better than using the original minoxidil spray bottle and batana oil dropper bottle they came in. It’s faster to use and doesn’t waste as much product in my hair strands; although it still gets some on my hair instead of my scalp. It also comes with a syringe and brush, which I’m not sure what those are for. And a small funnel but that’s not really needed because the opening to refill the applicators have a large enough opening to just pour the product in.

Innovative and Convenient for Scalp Care
This applicator makes applying scalp treatments much easier and more precise. The roller ball design ensures even distribution without waste or mess, and the built-in reservoir is handy for both home and travel use. The gentle massage feature adds a relaxing touch while potentially improving absorption. Cleaning is straightforward, and the device feels sturdy and lightweight. While there’s a bit of a learning curve with setup and occasional adjustments, it’s a smart tool for targeted hair and scalp care.

Well Designed and Manufactured Applicator
Well-built applicator. Good packaging, includes everything needed for use. Good value for money. Doesn't include oils so I haven't had a chance to test it in action yet, but judging by the construction, it should work well.

Minoxidil Applicator
I have recently started using minoxidil to help with hair loss. When I saw this product, I thought it would be a great way to help apply it. I was not impressed with this applicator, however. It is kind is a pain to use and gets quite messy. It seems like it is much more time and effort to use this than to just apply without it. I don't think this is the right thing for me.

less product wasted
I love these applicators to apply serum and cleansing oils to my scalp. i tend to get dandruff so i use some pre-cleansing oils to loosen up skin and moisturize my scalp, but sometimes it's a pain to spray it and make sure it's reaching to the roots well enough. having this tool helps me ensure i'm getting enough product deep enough, and that i am reaching the spots i want to. it's helpful to have the main applicator and also a mini one in case you need to travel or share with a partner. it can leak at times, but overall it's very functional and way better than just spraying my oils on my hair.
