I’ve had no issues so far. It’s a good price for 256gb of space. It’s pretty quick and I’ve had no stability or corruption issues at all. It’s a good size for portability and the usb C and A connections make it versatile. I have installed Linux on it and I haven’t had any noticeable heat from it while installed or using the OS. The read/write speed is good, but it will never replace a true install on your main SSD drive.

UPDATEThe dual USB-C and USB-A function was very convenient for scanning PDFs with my Canon imageCLASS MFC laser printer with a USB-A port and then transferring to Mac computers over USB-C.I always used the safe ejection feature on the scanner and my computers, but about 4 months into ownership, I began getting occasional corrupted PDF scans. I think it is a problem with the Canon. I reached out to Lexar support, who guided me through recovery tools for the drive. In the end, the issue resolved itself with another scan run on the Canon and use of the safe eject media button on the Canon scanner.I'm not sure if it is the drive or the scanner, but since I always immediately back up my files, I'm not that concerned. It is only annoying when I have scanned 100 pages, safely eject the media and there is no file and/or the PDF is corrupted. Very well made item - has both c and a connections. Fast write speed. I bought it for putting a customers files on - and would certainly buy again for the same purpose.It was easy to use and the dual connections meant it would work on just about anything…. Phone, computer or even TV. I bought the 64GB which was more than enough for this use.
