It can successfully scan a fingerprint but no matter how I program it, it won't save a fingerprint.

I've used these units before and they're good but this particular item doesn't come with a cable

I was excited to try this out, but after buying extra components, and searching far and wide I still haven't been able to use it. 1. It doesn't come with any wires to connect it. And it uses a 6 pin 1.0mm JST connector. So I bought a set of those. 2. The connector arrived, I plugged it in and went looking for instructions. No dice. The manufacturer website has a 5 page data sheet PDF that basically tells you what the pins are, and that's in. 3. More searching and I eventually found a short video hosted in their Google Drive (!) that says to use their demo software. 4. More searching, I can't find this demo software. At this point I've spend 2 hours, plus the time It took to ship that connector. I'm done.
