In lieu of a bird bath... this is brilliant. My birds are much happier in this years heat than with anything else i have tried (my home made bird bath was hopeless. Also i think this is easier to clean than a bird bath because i can take it to the tap easily.

I bought this to replace some other hanging waterers I had which got damaged. I don't actually know if the birds have been using it as the feeder is to one side of my front door and I rarely actually see birds on the seed and suet ball feeders. I know they eat the food because it disappears quickly, but I still have one cat, so the birds are wary. I did spot a small hoverfly sitting on the very edge, having a drink. I always shake the bottle to keep the dish as full as possible. I think it probably gets used. It arrived on time, was a bit over-packaged. I think it's good value for money. I might buy another for the back garden, so I can atch activity from the house, without disturbing the birds.

I gave this bird waterer 3 stars because it is difficult to hand it on a bird feeding station. The hanging method is part of the feeder so when you come to hang it in place it is necessary to turn it horizontally and a lot of the water escapes. I've had to buy a carabiner hook in order for it to work and this should not be becassary.

A rather cute idea but useless. The design is such that so little water accumulates in the tray, the birds seem not to see it.

easy to clean, don't fill it up too much as it has been hot which has been heating up the bottle

The birds love this especially during the hot days. I would recommend every garden has one. More importantly than bird food. People often forget they need water.
