Great sturdy toy.
This was an amazing find for my 8 year old grandson. He has enjoyed playing with it right side up and upside down.

Great for balance and neurodiverse kiddos!
This is a MUST if you have a neurodiverse kid! From rocking while seated to “surfing” while standing, it helps to balance and calm your kiddo! Mine likes to flip his over too, and it’s a little “hill” he can sit on while reading!

Fun and beneficial for regulation
My four-year-old twins, who are on the spectrum, had previously played with the original (smaller) disk at an indoor play center and also at their occupational therapist’s office, and loved it. Being that my twins are bigger now, I decided to purchase the new XL Wobble Disk for their sensory needs at home. They were super excited when the box arrived and had difficulty wanting to share so we used our timer to help take turns. However, I’m considering purchasing a second disk as sharing toys is a real challenge for my twins. After exploring how well it rocks and wobbles and spins (I had to spin them as it’s impossible for them to spin while sitting in it,) they flipped it over and used it to jump on and off—the sensory input from jumping helps them regulate themselves. The disk is large and made of thick, durable plastic allowing my two four-year-olds to fit inside with their legs crossed, and also held their weight just fine while jumping on and off the dome side. We incorporated it into our obstacle course the first day and they have been using it for pretend play. It’s been a swimming pool and tire swing for their dolls and stuffed animals, a boat, and a ball pit (albeit a rather small ball pit!) The only con I can say about the XL Wobble Disk is that it’s shaped a bit differently than the smaller original disk, and I actually prefer the more rounded shape of the original. It seemed deeper and easier to spin and rock/wobble. Oh, and my twins wondered why I didn’t buy a yellow wobble disk (their favorite color!) So other than wishing it came in yellow, my sensory seeking preschoolers are quite happy with this newest addition to our home sensory equipment. Also, I personally love that I’m supporting a Veteran-owned and American based company with my purchase!

fun but harder to rock than expected
I was debating between this item and the non-XL version, but decided on this one since I have 2 young kids. This item is very durable, no assembly required since it's just a large piece of plastic square . There are 2 modes of play that you can access by flipping the disk over: the first one is using it as a stepping/climbing platform which my kids love to do. The second mode is the wobbling which is actually not very easy to do given its size and shape. It's hard to spin the thing without someone else helping so most of the time, the kids just rock from left to right. If I have to do it again, I would choose the non-XL version which is smaller and has a circular shape. It looks easier to use and spin.

My kids love this!
Love that multiple kiddos can sit in at the same time. Great for indoor winter play when it’s too cold to go outside!

Such a disappointment
I wanted to warn anyone who doesn't read fine print in a rush like I didn't. I bought this for my son’s main Christmas gift. $70 is a lot of money for us, but I was hoping it would help him with his sensory issues. This is just a big piece of useless plastic, it doesn't really spin and he was so disappointed with it. It was so awful to see my 5 year old try to use this but find it so boring. The worst part is they make you pay costly return fees then take an additional 20% (restocking) fee out of your return. They can then turn this around and sale this giant plastic flop to someone else. I guess the restocking fee is to ship it to someone else bc it is in the box it came in not being used at all. Please be ware and don't waste so much money that you can’t get back.

My son is a little to small to be able to move himself around in it easily. I bought it thinking he would be able to just use it for a longer period of time. Im sure he will get the hang of it though. Very fun for an adult and child combo!
