I was about to get rid of the tank and buy one with a glass top due to losing too many prized fish. This was easy to install and cut with wire cutters. I would not recommend using scissors. It's a little stronger than egg crate at the hardware stores. I used 3 sections cutting to fit around my plumbing and planters. I also tapped them together using a hammer, but you can leave the separate for easier removal, but you'll need more clamps. I configured it so I only have one clamp on the front, one on each side, and two in the back. Now to buy more for my rimless 30 show tank.

These worked out great, I bought a two pack, to make a lid for my 55 gallon turtle tank, only needed 1/2 covered. Strong, yet easy to make cut outs for the filters.

Get tin snips, no issues. I just used zip ties because I wasn't dealing with those annoying nubs. But it worked

My fish jump. One actually landed behind the tank. Made a cardboard templet, then a Dremel to trim tiles to fit ledge of my tank. Works great, I can feed without lifting. Looks nice and neat too.

I put this in my red eared sliders tank to use as a ramp for his basking area. They cut very nicely and they snap together and i don't need any extra zip ties or anything!

i was able to do 3 tanks with the 12 pack. i like how simple these are to take on and off and no fogging up like glass does. also like that you don't really see them when looking at the tank from the front!

Definitely help keep the fish from jumping out

Using as a tank cover, fits my 10gal perfectly. Easy to resize, and I can feed my fish through the holes.
