I only have the Kobalt battery powered lawn mower and the battery it came with was kind of trash. It never really lasted that long. Thinking it might be the lawn mower, I bought this battery to test it. Not only does this battery help but it was literally just the battery that came with my lawn mower. This battery allows me to do all of my front and backyard without me having to stop in the middle of doing each to recharge it. This thing packs a punch on power and like mentioned above, allows me to finish all of my yard work without having to make a half a day job be a 2 day job. I will be buying the trimmer and this battery will definitely come in handy. Definitely a great buy and worth the amount I paid!

I got this battery to have as a backup for my Kobalt 40V battery. It's great to have an extra, so I can use two items without having to switch the batteries back and forth. It seems very durable and pretty much identical to the name brand one. Obviously this one is at a much better price. It's a great value! It fit perfectly into my kobalt tools. Battery quality and capacity seems very similar to my name brand one. It also charged right up with my Kobalt charger. I've used it / charged it a handful of times now and still working well.

In my experience, I have been able to do more extensive outside tasks, such as pruning hedges and clearing brush, without having to stop in the middle of the process to recharge my batteries. I used to have to replace batteries or take pauses to recharge, but now I am able to perform the same chores in a single sitting. Because of this change alone, my weekend tasks have become more streamlined and productive, and the irritation that I had as a result of interruptions while I was working has been eliminated. Using it on my cordless trimmer, leaf blower, and chainsaw, I have found that it has worked reliably without causing any performance degradation in any of these tools. This battery was able to keep everything going for a longer period of time than was anticipated, even when used with more demanding items like the chainsaw, which typically consumes power very rapidly. This consistency makes a significant impact for someone who regularly changes between tools while working on the same project. In spite of the fact that I had anticipated that it would take more time due to the bigger capacity, I discovered that it charges within a decent amount of time and is ready whenever I want it. After I have finished a job, I will typically plug it in, and by the time I need it again, it will have been completely charged and ready to take action. Due to the battery's dependability in ensuring that it is always available for use, the stress associated with planning around charging schedules has been eliminated.

Perfect replacement for Kobalt. Good value. A gift fo family member.

Bought this as a gift for my son in law. He said it works really well in his electric mower and a lot less costly than the name brand. He told me it charges well and holds the charge long enough to cut his 1/3 acre yard.

I bought this to use with my Kobalt fast charger and to power my pricey 40V outdoor power tools. It’s case seems good if. It identical to the original battery that came with the leaf blower. It fits perfectly into the Kobalt tools with no issues with connection. It has a led indicator that shows battery percentages of 25, 50, 75 and 100. This is excellent so I know if I should start a large project or out it on the charger and switch to a different battery. Having multiple batteries keeps me from being stuck without power in the middle of a job. I expected that these batteries might have some issues with the length of time they hold a charge, but it’s been running side by side with the OEM batteries so far. I am considering getting another battery replaced.

I replaced an old Kobalt 40V 6.0Ah battery after noticing degradation in my Kobalt lawnmower after approximately three years of use. My townhome lawn is NOT large - usually a 15-minute job. The XAVITO replacement battery was down to 50% within 5-6 mins and eventually cut off on me somewhere between 12-14 mins, which is precisely the problem I'd been having with the degraded original Kobalt battery. When the Kobalt battery was new, it would still have about 75% charge after the typical 15-minute job. The very first time I used the brand new XAVITO replacement battery - fully charged - it was noticeably less powerful and couldn't even make it through one 15-minute session. After the XAVITO cut off, I had to use the original Kobalt to finish the lawn. This is completely unacceptable. Somebody is clearly being deceptive about the specifications. I'll be heading to Lowe's to spend considerably more now on a Kobalt replacement battery.
