Let me first start off by saying this is one of the best pieces released by Casio in the G-shock series. It is my first G-shock and I couldn't be more pleased. I was searching for a nice looking G-shock for almost a month before I came across this watch and there was not another second I wasted to order this. The shipping was super fast and this watch didn't disappoint a bit. Looks: Stunning watch. Has the sturdy G-shock military look to it as well as the dark Colors and the design gives it a sophisticated look. This watch can go well on all occasions (office, sports, fancy dinners etc.). I should though mention that the piece I got did not have the light-bluish color that is shown in the picture. Instead it is slightly greyish which by the way looks quite cool. The size of the watch is perfect. It is not as big as the specifications make it sound. I have medium sized wrists and it looks great. Looking at the size I can safely say that it will look fine on slightly smaller wrists as well. Built: This is a solidly built watch as you would expect from a G-shock. This is a very light watch which was a pleasant surprise. The wrist band is plastic and has teeth on the underside of it which keeps the band loop in place. Features: This watch has all the features that you expect from a normal G-shock. I don't think it has the moon phases and stuff that is coming with some of the new G-shocks but I don't need that anyway. One thing I wish was to have solar battery. Unfortunately this has a normal battery which runs up to 2 years according to the manual. CON: The only issue with this watch is the back-light. It is actually a bunch of LEDs (edit below) around the dial that light up. This will only illuminate the analog part of the watch, so you can easily see the time. But the digital part is INVISIBLE until you shine a flashlight directly into it. Now, this could be a major issue for many, but for me it is not really a big deal. ---EDIT: As one of the readers pointed out, it is actually only 1 LED light at 6 o'clock position which lights up. The light though reflects across the different chrome/steel hour markers which can give the illusion that it has small LEDs all around. Over all I just love this watch. The looks blew me away, the price is decent, and the built is a perfect. Features are nothing over the top but has almost all the ones you would expect. I believe this will be one of the most popular G-shocks in the future. If you are planning to buy a G-shock other than this one, think twice :)

This watch is awesome. Has more functions that I will ever use. World time, 5 alarms, Chronograph with laps and even can calculate velocity. It is a G-Shock so you know it will last almost forever. Comes with a great tin case and papers. 51 mm so it's kind of big for the people who like big watches. Also you can program the light to turn on every time you flick your wrist. Also has a little lume at the tip of the hands, not much. Buttons can be difficult to press but that's to ensure no water or dust can penetrate the module, besides is not as hard as the mudman. Now the cons. The light is kind of week. Also this particular module has a negative display, so the digital part is very hard to read at nigh, very hard. And. Last it can be very difficult to set the first time. I will strongly suggest looking for a tutorial before the watch arrives so you can be prepare for setting it. Don't be discouraged, get the tutorial first. At the end of the day it's a great watch for little money.

The watch is a dark gray almost a tint of navy? Even though the picture shows it as black. Anyways, I absolutely love the appearance of this watch. I am a graphic designer so I must keep a professional appearance as well as keep my own personal kinda rugged style. And this watch lets me do both. It looks very sophisticated from its analog dials and its chrome minute indicators. At the same time keeps its rugged look with the complexity of its shape and dark colors. It feels very comfortable wearing it. Not as big as people make it sound. I have VERY small wrists...about 7"? and it looks like a perfect size for me. This watch is very light weight and because of its teeth in the band, keeps from moving around my arm while remaining comfortably in place. Feels like a solid watch. The resin casing makes it feel like a almost rubbery coating on the shell perfectly matching its band. CON: Only thing that I dislike about the watch is which was stated in other reviews from other sites... The illuminating light shines from the bottom which doesn't really help too much in trying to view it at night, but I gotta say it does look kinda neat...like something from space mountain out of Disnelyand. Overall: Fantastic piece for those sporty/rugged/professional people who are looking for a cheap yet solid, reliable, and beautiful watch.

I like the watch but I can't give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. First it is a good looking watch but I do have a bit of difficulty reading the time especially if it is in low light. The hands blend in with the other 3 arrow like marks at the 3 7 9 areas. The light up feature is nice but again can still be difficult to read in dark and I have excellent vision. Second I had the watch on (about 1 week old) in the snow/ cold weather (about 15 degrees Fahrenheit) and the watch fogged up under the glass dial. It did go away when I went inside but that is disappointing. I'm not sure if a seal is broke or what but I don't feel like going through the return process yet unless it becomes more of an issue. The anti shock feature is nice and I haven't been shocked while wearing. Overall very nice watch and fairly happy

Lo mejor en relojes

Damn fine watch. Rugged, battery changed only once. Tells the time and the date. I went through smart watches and other watches but this is my daily work watch. Reliable, simple and does what it needs to do. Tell me the time and the date. If I need to check my messages then I check my phone, if I need a GPS then my phone and I don't need to charge it. Paid the same price I did 10 years ago.

La verdad ya tenía mucho tiempo que quería un G-SHOCK en color negro y cuando lo compré casi no habían fotos en las opiniones, pero el modelo me gusto bastante. Muy buen reloj la verdad y muy buena compra, por el costo vale la pena

Great watch, worn mine everyday for 7 months now. Very solid, great matte colour. Feels like the one knife I have I would want to take into a zombie apocalypse with me.
