Great camera for the money!
Device was well packaged and is supplied with a small padded case to house the camera unit and a USB extension cable. As often with these types of devices, I had to remove the protective case from my phone to use the camera connected directly to the phone. The adapter cable is a great way to make this work without taking my case off and the handy carrying case keeps everything neat and tidy. The width of the camera is nearly identical to that of my phone, so it doesn't get in the way.Once I installed the ThermCam app and began to use the camera, I found the image quality is pretty good, especially given the price. It was easily enough to inspect the walls of my house for gaps in the insulation and ensure all A/C ducts were connected after contractors did some remodel work in my attic. It was sensitive enough to even see footprints on the floor for quite a while after my child walked by on carpet and tile, so it can clearly see temperature differences of just a few degrees. All images stored in the app are easily found in a separate folder in my phone's photo gallery, so I can quickly pull them up and share them through the usual methods. All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase!

A handy affordable and useful thermal camera !
The camera performs excellent. The refresh rate is amazing. Image quality is also very good. The TISR function is useless because is doesn't do nothing to the image. As this should improve the resolution it absolutely useless. Maybe an update to the app will solve this.Built quality is also good and feels quite sturdy. On the downside the surfaces which have a reflection from a heat source or a light reflection are seen as surfaces with an increase temperature.Overall a good camera.

Great item at a great price
I was initially very skeptical about the M256 Thermal Imagery device, especially given its price point, but I have to say, this thing is absolutely amazing! It has completely exceeded my expectations. The device connects seamlessly to the app, making setup and operation a breeze. One of the standout features for me is how effortlessly it stores every picture and video directly to my camera roll. This makes sharing thermal images and videos with others incredibly simple and convenient—no extra steps or complicated transfers needed.Additionally, the M256 comes with a compact and protective case, which is a thoughtful inclusion. It keeps the device safe and makes it easy to carry around without worrying about damage.Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the M256 Thermal Imagery. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and packed with features that make it worth every penny. If you’re on the fence about this product, I’d highly recommend giving it a try—it’s a game-changer!

Wow
The media could not be loaded. I have an IR thermometer that's technically capable of telling me the same information as this, but it's not visual like a camera is. I'm trying to air seal my leaking house from the attic and outside after some sub-zero days. Turns out my windows suck, there's no insulation in my outer walls, and a couple things from the attic have insulation pushed away from them and aren't sealed.I basically scoured the internet for the best infrared camera models within my price range and then used AI to compare all the data like resolution, field of view, handheld versus phone mount, prices after coupons or sales, etc, and eliminate options that were more expensive AND lower quality compared to others. That left me with 3, all within about $30. This one had the better resolution and FOV, but was phone mounted, which actually doesn't bother me.So I came to the conclusion this was the best Camera for the best money and I am very, very satisfied with my purchase. The quality is very good, the application works great, and I have zero complaints.Video is a bit higher quality on my phone than it shows here, but you get the point. Select whatever color scheme you want live, and even change it after saving a photo. The screen shows you where the highest and lowest temps are, and what you're pointing at center screen, and you can disable or change all those settings. This thing'll save me its purchase price in lowering my energy bills in probably only one year. I've already caulked, spray foamed, weather sealed, and layed batts. There are tax credits that reimburse 30% of your cost for adding insulation to your home, and lots of other stuff too.I'm going to tell everyone I can about this thing.

What's the hype?
No instructions besides a picture card on app install. My temperatures are in Celsius and have no idea how to change them to Fahrenheit. Can't change the focal length. So far, not impressed with the quality of the images or the usefulness of this device. Disappointing.
