Love the stand. Easy but time consuming to assemble.My big problem is the packaging. So environmentally unfriendly. Whilst it’s nice to have every size screw in a different bag, all that plastic will end up in landfill. The wood and glass would be better protected with recyclable corrugated card rather than polystyrene. If it was more environmentally friendly I would give the stand five stars.Main complaint about the stand itself is lack of cable management and ventilation.UPDATE: AV Exclusive wrote to me by post offering me a cheque for £10 to give them a positive review - such actions skew genuine reviews, so am downgrading them here to give a level playing field. I will also contact Amazon about it

Absolutely chuffed to pieces with this TV Stand. We bought it to replace an old black glass 'open' style stand which had come very dated. This is an elegant upgrade for our front room which is much easier to keep dust free :) and also suits the rest of the room much more. I echo other reviews in that the fitting of the doors is fiddly, however once it's done it's done and the rest of the assembly is pretty straightforward.We have had this in situ for a couple of months (hate reading reviews made on day 1 of assembly as you never know whether the product lasts) this stand has been great and is well worth the price, the seller is brilliant to deal with and I highly recommend.

Excellent product. Really quite straightforward to assemble in about an hour although best to use your own screwdriver rather than the one supplied. One of two of the Allen-key type screws were a bit fiddly to get the Allen key to engage with but proved to be a minor issue frankly. Bought to replace an open shelved glass unit which was probably more sturdy but this seems sturdy enough and I found moving it relatively easy (with care) even once loaded. Back panels are thin and can bow a little but if you have a largeish AV amp like me that's no bad thing as they can easily be trimmed a little to create more ventilation and extra space for cables. Looks stylish and makes everything so much tidier. Excellent service from Richer Sounds. Even at standard free delivery terms, arrived in less than 48 hours.

A great tv stand which although not low cost has been a great buy. Sturdy with loads of room for Sky box, large surround amp, Blue ray, loads of DVDs and a selection of leads. The beam through glass on the front allow the infra red remote to beam through while allowing everything hidden away.Very pleased with the stand.

This unit looks amazing. It fits together really easy. Make sure to put the glass doors in another room and fit them once the tv and all your control boxes are in place also leave the rear sliding panels off until youve wired all of your boxes up then fit the panels slide the cabinet into place and fit the tv easy

We bought this cabinet four months ago. One day the glass on the one door exploded sending pieces of glass up to five metres across the room. It was very frightening and our children were screaming. It sounded like an explosion! Luckily our children were not sitting directly in front as they usually do and it doesn't bear thinking about it. We had to remove the other door as a precaution. Contacted Amazon and they state it doesn't shatter without a reason but could be defective! We asked for a refund because we believe this to be a safety issue as the door looked perfectly intact and was not damaged by us. Amazon were really unhelpful and refused us a refund but wants to send another glass door! We can't accept this as it's not worth taking the risk. Will try to to fight this with Amazon but would never have bought this cabinet no matter how nice it looked. PLEASE BEWARE DO NOT BUY THIS CABINET!

Looks great and works well with remote. We really like the unit but there are a couple of watch outs. The oak panels are darker in reality than in the pictures and the doors are a little fiddly to assemble (small screws). Otherwise we are very pleased with this purchase.

The product was delivered in 2 boxes and was relatively straight forward as long as you take your time. For all those men out there you do need to follow the instructions. The oak wood panels were slightly damaged (2 minor chips - damage in transit). when Amazon was approached to get replacement panels they were not interested and asked that I repack all of the items and return to them - with no consideration of the ability to re-pack or return to them. I contacted the company who had sent the items and they were really helpful, and provided replacement panels without any debate. The new TV and Blu-ray player are on/in the unit and it really looks great.
