Asvine J16 Solid Titanium Fountain Pen Extra Fine Jowo Nib Piston Filling, Ink Window Design with Wrench and Pen Box

The Asvine J16 is a very good pen and when on offer it was an absolute bargain.

I'd love to give this pen 5 ⭐ but it hard starts if left more than 2 days without use. Pilot black ink which is good quality, I tried several other inks also with same results. Cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner. Still hard starts. Lovely pen, excellent build quality, the JoWo EF nib is exquisite. Does not hold as much ink as expected for a piston filler. My Lamy studio, Pilot and Platinum pens can be left for weeks and always start without hesitation. I guess the nibs seal better with the caps on those pens.

Pen looks nice… until you try to use it! Piston does not move inside the pen, so it can’t be filled up. Avoid!

Ottima penna sotto tutti gli aspetti. Alcune caratteristiche potrebbero non essere gradite, come il peso abbastanza consistente e il pennino Jowo EF che ha un tratto ed un flusso di tipo europeo e quindi diverso da quello delle stilografiche giapponesi o delle cinesi più evolute. Ma, in linea generale, è bene avere un "parco" penne diversificato.I materiali sembrerebbero garantirne la durata. Sul web è stata criticata la finestrella trasparente, di plastica, a mezzo del fusto, che rappresenterebbe un punto di debolezza. E' chiaro che se cade in terra, si può rompere.

Muito boa caneta, com aparo Jowo (EF neste caso) de escrita suave e precisa. Materiais de elevada qualidade. Um prazer de uso.
