I selected this splint & one other after reading alot of reviews on all the splints available here on Amazon that are made specifically for trigger thumb. It is a soft & comfortable fit & keeps my thumb from moving at all, which is good. I've worn it all day & all night to allow my thumb the rest & healing that it needs. When I do take it off, my thumb feels ok. When it starts to get all stiff & jerky again I put the splint back on. I guess this will have to be the case as I refuse to get any kind of injections or surgery. It does allow me a sense of pain free comfort so I will definitely buy more when this one wears out. I am thinking of getting the smaller size though. I was in between sizes (xs & s/m) & chose the bigger one, but there is a tiny bit of play in the circumference of the thumb & while its ok I'm curious to see if the smaller size will fit more like a fitted glove.

I am an occupational therapist and was going to request a referral to a hand therapist or an orthopedic doctor because I was in so much pain with my thumb. I decided to try this first. I wore it for seven hours last night while I slept. I have zero pain today. It was a game changer! I expected to wear it a month and maybe see a little difference but thankfully it took away all pain after just seven hours.Just following up-have worn it several more times just b/c one time didn't seem like it should have worked. Today I packed it up. I went from unable to use a pincer grasp, using a lateral grasp for handwriting, unable to manipulate twist tops, and having zero ability to slide the on/off button on my hair dryer, to doing all of that again. It's crazy to think what I could have spent on tests, orthopedic appointments, and OT hand therapy appointments. I had NO expectation this would alleviate anything, but it did. It may not work for everyone, but it's worth a try. Best of luck to all who order!

Excellent hand/thumb device. Quality materials. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is because when wearing all night, in the morning after taking off, the glove leaves some “puckered” marks and upper wrist line (I am wearing fairly loose, so it’s not too tight at all.)It takes hours for the small marks to completely go away, but it’s a small sacrifice, because what I’m experiencing is a great product otherwise. I believe marks are left because it’s because the material is stronger and stiffer, with a built in brace for thumb.Fortunately by the 2nd or 3rd wearing, the brace “softened” somewhat and bends more easily with my hand. I do appreciate it is keeping my thumb in place and stabilized while I sleep.And best of all, I am finally healing!I wished I had discovered this device back in March, when my trigger thumb started. It was very painful and inconvenient having such issues with my thumb. I waited too long to find something suitable (although I tried one of those cheap thumb only braces back in early April - covers only thumb - but that helped only a little bit and then actually became worse, so I stopped wearing.)But in only 7 days wearing (usually while I sleep only) this new thumb brace that covers your palm and wrist, my trigger thumb is 50% better. I’d say that is very good, considering what I was going through before. And it doesn't interfere with my sleep at all. It is very comfortable to wear. I forget I have it on.I should add I also ice my thumb and rub occasionally with CBD balm. Icing is very helpful and I try to do everyday.I will continue to wear at least another month, as it was while I was sleeping that my thumb became much worse when I woke up (for months), UNTIL I discovered this item last week with further research.So thank you to the seller and manufacturer of this finely made product.NOTE TO SELLER: Maybe mention in your marketing materials that this item will feel fairly stiff the first time or couple times wearing, but it does soften up just enough afterwards, while still remaining extremely effective. And to expect marks on your skin.

This FREETOO Ergonomical Wrist and Thumb Brace, is working well for me. I had a bout of tendonitis in one of my hands, and it was the worst I have had in years. I am definitely going to get a second one so I can alternate between washings. Keep in mind, the brace does not "cure" the issue, but it helps keep things in alignment and semi-immobile to give the tendons a chance to recover. I can absolutely recommend this Freetoo Ergonomical hand/wrist brace.

Great product, fits perfectly and protects the thumb Great 👌 my old brace made it hurt. This one no tears today at work. No pain at all. It's great. I possibly have a torn tendon in thumb and have had pain for almost 2 months. Mri on June 30th finally to see but I can function at work now. I recommend it to everybody

This is an excellent protective brace for an injured hand. I bought this because I originally thought I had trigger thumb or tendonitis in my thumb area, and I needed something that would help brace it to keep it from hurting so badly. Come to find out, once I went to the doctor about it, it turns out it is an inflammation flare-up in arthritis I did not know I had. It works well, protecting my hand from bumps and knocks that would otherwise hurt. It is also very supportive of my thumb. And it took forever to find an XS brace, this was one of the few I found that I thought might work for my needs. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the Velcro strap part that holds my thumb in place is starting to stretch out of shape after I've worn it for 3 weeks, consistently. I keep having to refasten it every time I turn around, which can get a tad annoying. Aside from that one thing, I would recommend this to anyone with any kind of thumb injury to try this brace. It gives good support and has held up through 3 weeks of constant use. I am happy with my purchase of this brace.
