Megableu 855049 Scrabble Prestige Edition [French Language Version]

Loved this set as I am a keen Scrabble player and wanted a second set to give to the staff and patients at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. I was lucky enough to have a double lung transplant at the end of February this year. The set in the ward was old and tatty, the tiles would move at the slightest touch and having a grip set myself, I knew a proper set would be so much easier. Bit bulky for travelling but worth it and you can play in the back seat of the car. All singing and dancing wooden set looked wonderfully grand. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great game for the family

What i didn't like was the instructions were all in French, The values on the tiles were different to the normal scrabble eg W=10 normally 4 Q=8 norm 10 Z =10 as normal. Why there different ! i can't hazard a guess a bit confusing if you play competitions worldwide. The tiles were a bit fiddle to pick up a fit onto the rack ,Quality was excellent .

I was not aware that I was ordering the scrabble in French so it was a waste of a large sum of money.Tell me where I went wrong. I gave it to my cousin as a Christmas present and was not aware until he told me that it was in French. Jen Tomkinson

Do not buy this edition if you want an English board. Clearly the board is in french but they give you the English version letters and rule book inside. Pretty annoyed as it cost a lot of money and not what you expect. I had to pay postage return to 3rd party vendor for refund. Box and board is good quality but not worth £100! Avoid...

It is a French addition, I got it to play with my mum during this pandemic, As gift on Mother's Day. I'm quite annoyed

El juego es en Francés, cosa que ya sabía, la caja de cartón, viene con los bordes en mal estado ( algo sin importancia para mí). Pero lo que no me esperaba es que viniera con una parte del marco roto. Aunque no impide,ni influiría en el juego. El juego en sí , independientemente de esto, está bien, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que pesa más de 3 kgs. Pondré un leve video para que vean, espero que les sea de utilidad👍

Il porte bien son nom : de luxe. Les jetons sont bien calés sur le plateau et le plateau tournant est super pratique. Attention toutefois avec les jokers, les 2 jetons ou il n’y a pas de lettres inscrites ; on peut les confondre avec d’autres jetons si on les poses à l’envers car ça donne les mêmes. Comparer aux versions classiques ou il y’a un petit trou à l’arrière de la lettre.

Das Scrabble Spiel ist wirklich super, was die Qualität betrifft. Leider wurde auf der Webseite versäumt zu erwähnen, dass es sich um eine französische Scrabble Version handelt. Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass die angebotenen Spiele "Deutsch" verfasst sind. Im Französischen haben die Buchstaben wohl eine andere Bewertung als im Deutschen. Ich musste es daher zurücksenden und hoffe, dass es die deutsche Versio gibt.

Si vous pensiez que le Scrabble n’était qu’un vieux jeu de lettres poussiéreux, préparez-vous à être surpris. Cette édition Prestige de Megableu est d’une élégance folle : finition acajou, lettres en bois qui ont l’air de sortir d’un coffre-fort royal… on joue presque avec des trésors ! Le plateau rotatif est un vrai plus : fini les crises d’angoisse pour attraper les lettres ou lire les mots à l’envers. Les parties en famille prennent un tout autre niveau : chaque « Q » ou « Z » posé fait presque sensation, et vous pourriez finir par lancer des commentaires comme « je me sens tellement classe en jouant à ça ». Le rangement intégré est si pratique que vous pourriez même laisser votre plateau sur la table sans que ça ressemble à un chantier. Bref, ce Scrabble Prestige transforme une partie classique en soirée digne d’un palace, où stratégie, rire et style se rencontrent. Même vos lettres vont se sentir importantes !
